We where planning a wedding for 11/12/2011 in Mexico, but do to poor communication from the resort we have decided that it would be better to cancel while we had time to.

So now we are planning a Winter wedding in New England, We still don't have a thing for this new wedding, but hopefully everything comes together.

We are engaged as of Sunday the 20th (Father's days)2010. :)

We woke up at 6:00 AM so that we could be on the road  by 7:00 to make the three hour trip to his parents private beach where we where meeting my parents, brother, and his parents. We arrived 30 min  early so we decide to call my parents and see how far they where. Well to make a long story short, they ended up going the wrong way so they where 45 min away. At this time FI is livid, he wanted to be on the beach by 11:00am which was not going to happens. so we waited for his for his parents to arrive and then decide to go to breakfast while we waited for my parents, well I don't know how fast my father must of driven because they where only 20 min behind all of us.

So once my parents arrived, we headed to the beach. We arrived at the beach at 11:45am, we up packed and got situated. then I decide to change into my bathing suite. while I change I later found out that FI was showing my ring and the sign which he wanted our fathers to hold up when he asked.

Once I came back, we laid out in the sun for a couple of min, before FI asked me to go for a walk because he need to go pee(lol). I said OK, and we head toward a rock bed and bushes to the right of where we had placed all of our stuff.

We reached the rock and started to climb them to the top, once there we looked at the ocean for a couple of min, before he said "OK let me go pee so that we can get back to our parents". well he went Thur the bushes while I just looked at the waves( with out me noticing he was seeing if our parents where getting ready). when he came back we walked a little farther down the rock bed, and then he told me "lets go back to our parents", when I turned around I notice a BIG sign flapping in the wind being held by my father and his. I started reading it" Tanya Will you" that is when I had to start reading it over" Tanya Will you marry me? Please?????, once I turn back around he was on one knee, at this same moment I heard our song blaring in the back ground. I of course yelled yes, and then he put the MASSIVE rock on my finger, then we walked back to our families.

We spent the rest of the day at the beach and then went out to luch at local sea food restaurant. once we split form our families, we drove the 3 hours back home, and ordered in and then finished of the night with some celebratory drinks.

It was more then I EVER thought he might do. It was PERFECT and I can't waite to marry my solemate and bestfriend on 11/12/11 on the beach in Mexioc surronded by the people that love us. is it 11/12/11 yet??????

8/26/2010:

I final was able to take some creative photo with my point and shoot camera , still have to take photo's with my Marco, but here they are. the best part is that FI surprised me one Friday with flowers and what best time to take the photo's.

Fi's sister had her baby shower two weeks ago, and while we where there, the ladies in his family presented FI and I with our engagement basket, this basket is something they always do for recently engagement ladies if there family. it was great!!! the basket was huge and was so heavy that I couldn't carry it, it had so many goodies. Some of the goodies where: a wedding planner, four wedding magazines, toasting flutes, white flip flops for me and a pair of black ones for FI,  the everything destination wedding book, a huge bottle of bubbly, maracas b/c we are getting married in Mexico, and the best part is that these maracas Fifather got while there where on a trip to the resort that we are getting married at, a photo album, a ring photo frame,all wraped with tulle in the color of our wedding and some more stuff but I can't remember now, here are the photo's that I took.

We have choose to start of the new your in the best way as possiable, as husband and wife!!!!! We will be ringing the new year with all our family!!! can't wait.

I'm planning on DIY my flowers, here is what I'm planning and what, and where I getting my stuff from.

We want the branches set up like this (2) each.

             

 

The branches will be in a BASE like right photo or in the silver pedestal that I have, with (2) white hydrangea, (11) White rose's,  (10) white carnations,  (1) orchid stem( cut the blooms off and hot glue them to the branches, (5) mini calla Lilly's, (5) .5 lenght stands of crystals. Circular florist green foam x 8.
