THE I DO'S
DIY decor and we wrote our own special vows that brought tears and laughter. We were married by a close friend who has been with us since the start of our relationship. He did a great job!
COCKTAILS! The signature Lee-tini was a hit. Pretty, strong, and tasty.
RECEPTION DETAILS
To add a touch of Asian flair to our lofty art gallery venue, we featured red silk laterns on handmade wooden stands, which were a HUGE labor of love from some good friends and family. We named each table after our three favorite cities, San Francisco, Sacramento, and Manhattan, and included a fun fact for each street.
The head table was in front of a piece of artwork, so we kept it simple and did low candles and orchids.
Our DIY monogramed menus, doubled as programs, thanks to double sided printing.
A charming cigar bar was set by the door, complete with monogrammed matches.
Our dessert bar featured cupcakes, french macarons, petite fours, fortune cookies, homemade brownies, and Chinese egg custard tarts. Of course we couldn't forget the Swarovski champagne flutes.
A sample of the delicious food from Le's Kitchen. My favorite dishes, the sea bass and quail. We definitely made time to sit down and eat!
Our delightful band, the Keith Johnson All Star Band, was a surprise for E. And they surprised us by getting ALL of our guests on their feet.
Terra features a dramatic ramp as an entrance. We decided to play upon it and threw out a red carpet and brought in faux paparazzi.
As a nod to the Sacramento Kings, our guests were invited to wave purple pom poms during our introductions. We're a fun loving group, so we threw on our photobooth props as we entered the room. It was a great way to get the energy going!
We took our first dance as Mr & Mrs to L-O-V-E. The practice definitely paid off!
Dances with our parents
The hit of the night . . . our post-party taco truck!
Terra in San Francisco
It's a beautiful, open loft space that doubles as an art gallery. It's a blank canvas waiting for me to come in with my creative juices. I'm already bubbling with ideas, but need turn it all into a cohesive story. Stay tuned!
This is just an example of how the space can be set up. There is also a downstairs area that I will likely use for my ceremony. It's under construction right now, but it sounds like awesome.
my save the dates just came! can't wait to send them out. thanks to magnetstreet.com & project wedding for my special prize. and g-ma for some design help
