How do I make a payment for a Dwellkart purchase?

Dwellkart offers multiple methods to make payments for your order: Credit Cards (including American Express cards) & Debit Cards (including Maestro cards), Net Banking (covering 44 banks), Cash-on-Delivery . Dwellkart and our trusted payment gateway partners use secure encryption technology to protect your card information at all times.

Are there any hidden charges when I make a purchase on Dwellkart (Octroi, Sales Tax)?

There are absolutely no hidden charges when you make a purchase with Dwellkart. We offer free delivery if the order is Rs. 300 or over, otherwise you will be charged an additional Rs. 30 for delivery. The prices listed for all items are final and all-inclusive. The prices you see on our product pages are exactly what you pay for the item.

What is Cash on Delivery?

If you do not prefer to make an online payment on Dwellkart then you can opt for the Cash-on-Delivery (C-o-D) payment method. With C-o-D you can pay us in cash at the time of actual delivery of product at your doorstep, without requiring you to make any advance payment on Dwellkart.

What is the process for Cash On Delivery (COD) purchase?

When you make a purchase using the COD option, your product will be booked. Our Customer Care Expert will call to confirm your Order before it gets dispatched. If you are unreachable or unable to attend the call, please contact Customer Care on 99999000 to confirm the purchase within 24 hours of making the purchase. Failing to confirm the purchase will lead to cancellation.

Are there any terms and conditions for a C-o-D purchase?

The maximum order value for a C-o-D payment is Rs. 20,000. It's strictly a cash-only payment method; no other method cannot be used for C-o-D orders.

Please note, we do not accept foreign currency as payment against a COD order.

How do I pay using a Credit card?

We accept all VISA, MasterCard and American Express Credit cards issued in India. International Credit cards are currently not supported on Dwellkart. To pay using your Credit card, you will need your Credit card number, Card expiry date, 3 digit CVV number (Card Verification Value - found on the back side of your Credit card) and online 3D Secure password. After entering the card number, expiry date and CVV number on Dwellkart, you will be redirected to the Bank's page for entering the online 3D Secure password.

How do I pay using a Debit card?

We accept Debit cards of all banks in India. To pay using your Debit card, you will need to enter your Debit card number, Card expiry date (optional for Maestro cards), 3 digit CVV number (optional for Maestro cards) on Dwellkart. You will then be redirected to your Bank's page for entering your online password (issued to you by your Bank) to complete the payment.

Is it safe to use my Credit/Debit card on Dwellkart?

Yes, shopping at Dwellkart is 100% safe. All Credit card and Debit card payments on Dwellkart are processed through secure and trusted payment gateways managed by leading Indian banks. Dwellkart uses latest 256-bit encryption technology to protect your card information while securely transmitting it to the Banks for processing the payment.

Furthermore, the Banks ask you to enter an online password (also known as 3D Secure password) which acts as an additional layer of security for your card transaction. This 3D Secure password is not printed anywhere on the card and is known only to you, giving you the added assurance that only you can use your card to make purchases on the Internet. This makes your online transaction on Dwellkart extremely safe and secure.

What is a 3D Secure password?

3D Secure is a free security service by VISA and MasterCard in partnership with card issuing Banks to secure your online Credit/Debit card transactions through the use of an additional password. This additional password is called 3D Secure password. The 3D Secure service is is also known as Verified by VISA and Mastercard SecureCode.

How can I get the 3D Secure password for my Credit/Debit card?

You can register for the 3D Secure password for your Credit/Debit card by visiting your Bank’s website. The registration links for some of the Banks has been provided below for your easy reference:

Is there a charge for Cash on Delivery purchases?

There is a non-refundable convenience charge of Rs. 39 levied on Cash on Delivery purchases. However, in case of prepaid orders these charges don't apply.

What should I do if my payment fails?

In case of payment failure, please retry ensuring:

Information passed on to payment gateway is accurate i.e.: account details, billing address, password (for net banking)

Your Internet connection is not disrupted in the process

If your account has been debited after a payment failure, it will be rolled back within 7 working days. You can get in touch with Customer Care with your Order number or email us on care@dwellkart.com for any clarifications.
