John and I have been friends since I was in 9th grade, but we didn't start dating until I was a senior in college and we worked together at camp. In high school I always thought he was so fun to be around, but never really thought of him as boyfriend material. By the time we worked together, though, I had realized he was just the type of guy I wanted to end up with. We spent the summer hanging out and having fun together and on the last day of camp after the staff banquet John walked me back to my room and he kissed me! And we've been together ever since! We started dating in August 2005 and he proposed August 28, 2008. We are planning a May 15, 2010 wedding and we couldn't be happier!
