I met my future hubby through my cousin(she is my maid of honor). My babe and my cousin used to work together and one day she said " I think there is somebody at my job that you will like." First I looked over his myspace page to see what I can learn about him ahead of meeting him. I met him for the first time at a surprise birthday party for my mom and my aunt September 21, 2007. I will never forget it!
After that first meeting, we have been inseperable! Seriously! Almost everyday we spent together! All of our friends were like "When are you guys getting married." It was so premature back then, but now I can officially say.................::::~MAY 1, 2010!~:::: I am soooooo excited! You can see the happiness in my eyes because we only have......

My MOH put together everything and her and the bestman gifted me and Fi a cruise to the Bahamas! Wow I am so thankful for everyone in our lives.....whoooooo hoooooo.....now for pics!

I had a blast!
Let me first say that it was not traditional at all! We were just starting to get quite fresh with one another and then he says and I quote " I wanna marry you in 2010." When I heard him say this I did not know what to do or say and he said it again this time he said " I am serious, I wanna marry you in 2010." So me like a dork says are you serious! Well he was very serious....I didn't get a ring right then tho.
I sent him a text message (awe the new world of texting) maybe 3days later while he was at work and I asked is May 1st a good date! He texed back...sounds good to me! And there you have it guys! It was not the on the 1 knee deal, but it was a proposal to me all the same ")
UPDATE: I got my ring 09-15-09...He looked at me at home and he said "I have been thinking I don't want to ever lose you" I said lose me to What?....He says " Well I don't want to lose this ring so here you go...will you marry me?" I said YES....i still did not get a on the one knee deal...but it does not matter to me!

I bought twelve 5 inch stryo balls....I will use all white flowers with a touch of silver and purple flowers also! I will get started making my poms soon!
I made 3 mini pomanders for the candy buffet table...below

I sat the pomander on this vase just to see what it would look like if I were to use the vase at the reception!

I bought 14 bags of the dollar tree rose petals....you get 300 in a bag....so I dyed a grand total of 4,200. I hope that is enough.. ")
I also dyed some flowers I got from the dollar tree also!
I only completed one so far to see what it will look like....I will use purple cardstock for the backing on some with white ribbon....and the others I will use purple ribbon with white cardstock for the backing.
Edit: I changed my programs a bit...I made them slimmer...I will also add ribbon to them!

I added silver ribbon and some bling to all the BM's bouquets
It took me 3 straight hours to complete.
I used 2 chisel top fabric markers for Michaels, One purple and One Black.
I printed out my monogram on a regular sheet of paper and went to FED EX office and they blew it up for me!
I tapped it down on my table and started tracing!
