My invitations have been ordered and arrived. I fell in love with these two years ago before seeing all of the beautiful DIY projects. I did save time and frustration that's needed elsewhere! LOL! I ordered them in the colors shown. Beautiful! Matches my theme perfectly. I ordered these from Invitations by Dawn.
This is my lovely guest book, pen & base, cake knives, and ring pillow! I didn't like
the glasses and of course I chose the garter that complemented my gown!
After seeing this beauty about a year ago, I had to print pictures of this cake and submit it to the bakery! I was so excited when Angela told me that it could be done. Last November, after Thanksgiving, Michaels craft store put all their fall picks on a major sale and I racked up! So all of the fall decor needed for both his cake and mine are complete with little expense. Sooo excited about that because this cake cost more than my wedding gown, and it's an Oleg Cassini. BUT!! I had to have this cake!
His cake, but delete the roses and add the leaves, etc.
My father purchased my jewelry two years ago. I had to have this necklace and these earrings, so simple and elegant. I didn't want anything that would take away from my gown, but add the right sparkle. My tiara is full of sparkle, my veil sparkles, and my gown. So it is important to me sparkle elegantly without overdoing it!
This picture doesn't do it any justice, but is is gorgeous!
And a sneak peek of the bottom of my gown! Excuse the pics, I took them from the catalog!
And the top....
I am so proud of myself! I only wished I had tried some of these projects before we paid a professional to create 24 centerpieces!!!!! I purchased the glass bowls and gems from the craft store and the floating candles from Tuesday Morning!
And my Aunt Vivian will print the programs, this is our first creation...
My "WE DO" letters! Letters and paint from Hobby Lobby!
My Inspirations!
My Bouquet! Just has to be wrapped!
The lady that does the arrangements for Micheal's craft store here will be doing all my bouquets,
centerpieces, and other decor. This is the bouquet that she created for me! Isn't she lovely?!
Finally! I have been searching for an affordable chocolate taffeta junior bridesmaid dress in a size 14, no luck! Tonight I finally found an affordable dress for FI's daughter, but it's in satin. It's still pretty, just hate that it's not in taffeta as every other member of the bridal party is.
