Hello! Thanks for stopping by! My name is Claudia and I'm from Houston, TX, and my fiance, Edgar is from Chandler, AZ. We met about 8 years ago and have been dating for about 5 years. We are finally saying I do! We are getting married at a country club in Houston. The ceremony and reception will be at the same place. I'm so excited and I can't wait to share with you my ideas, inspiration and progress! I'm so glad I found this site. You ladies are so creative and I'm learning so much from you all.

Finally, I found some colors that I like. I am thinking purple, green and white flowers with branches.

These inspirations boards were made from some pictures I've saved a while back. I'm not too sure of all the sources.  The bridal party one is from Hazel West Photography. The pictures on the first board, upper right, lower right,  and the picture on the second board, upper left are from The Knot.

The ceremony and reception are taking place in the same venue. I fell in love the venue's big windows, the staircase and chandeliers.

Ceremony Site
The ceremony is taking place outdoors under a gazebo. It's going to be an early afternoon ceremony.

Pre-reception Area (downstairs)

This is where the guests can eat and mingle while the bride, groom and bridal party take some on-location pictures.

The reception will take place upstairs. Immediately up the stairs to the right there is a lounge area with a piano.

Cake Topper: All done! I ordered the letter from craftyeddy@gmail.com. I spray painted the letter purple and adhered 10ss amethyst purple rhinestones with clear tacky glue.

Kid's Activity Book: Here's a little peek.

 Save the Date: My sister and I created the STD on photoshop. It's in English and Spanish.

Ceremony Inspiration:

I'm still unsure exactly how I am going to decorate the gazebo. I think I'm leaning toward the 2nd picture.

I don't know if I going to use grapevine pomanders or purple flower pomanders for the ceremony.

Reception:

Manzanita branches with crystals and flowers near the entrance.

The tables will consist of white tablecloths and plum satin nakpins. On top of each napkin I'll have a caramel apple. The chairs will have a plum chair tie.

I'm planning on using white hydrangeas and mini green hydrangeas with curly willow. I also want to add some purple flowers.
