How Ray & I Met

Ray & met years before we ever dated through a mutual friend Sasha. We hardly ever even spoke to each other. Ray is super laid back and quiet while I am the bubbly social butterfly so I am sure that's why we didn't connect right away.

I always thank God that I decided to meet Sasha at Ray & Steve's one night, (August 1, 2004) because if we didn't meet up there that night Ray & I would have probably never connected like we did.

I was instantly happy to see him, and we really connected all night. It was so fun that we stayed up all night hanging out, and then went to the movies the next day.

I left for vacation with family the following week to New York, and Ray & I were on the phone every night.

The Proposal

Ray & I took a MUCH needed vacation to Arizona. We stayed at the gorgeous Sanctuary at Camelback Mountain in Paradise valley just outside of Scottsdale. The Proposal photo 1 I loved laying by the pool relaxing and staring out at mountains and Palm trees.

On August 24th Ray and I took a drive to Sedona for the day. At the end of the day we took a hike in the Red Rocks. Red Rocks where we got
engaged We were all alone and checking out the beautiful scenery, and I knew something was up, because I was really anxious and giggly. Ray got down on one knee, said he has wanted to do this for so long and he asked me to be his wife...I SAID YES!!!! The ring is GORGEOUS!!! My Ring..I LOVE IT! We were so happy...what a romantic day, and I feel so blessed!!! Engagement Day 8/24/09

My Bridesmaid Dresses

My Bridesmaid Dresses photo 1

I originally wanted my Bridesmaids to wear a cute Watters and Watters dress, but after my Sister tried it on I decided how cheap it was in person, but will run them at least $300 after alterations. UGH!

Luckily David's came out with a new line of Party Dresses. They will be wearing the dresses above, but in black...so cute, and flattering on all of them.

I'm over my blue wedding shoes, because I fell in LOVE with another pair at work today. I had to get them ordered since they ran out of my size. I can't wait to get them.
