We live in the SF Bay Area, CA. Hannah teaches high school social studies and AVID. Drew is a "stand up" comedian who performs all over.

We met when Hannah's friend suggested she check out the bio of another guy on Excite.com. Hannah was moving to the Bay Area at this time. She found Drew's short, sweet and brutally honest bio on the same site and thought he seemed great. We wrote extensively for a month. We met and began dating in summer of 2001.

We had just finished moving in together for the first time that afternoon. We had talked about marriage and had considered it for our future. Drew proposed at our favorite Irish pub. It was a private moment without photos or fanfare. The pub was the same place we had our first kiss and ended our first date. Hannah was very surprised and speechless! She sat on her purse without realizing it.

Later, we took engagement photos on Treasure Island where Hannah was living when we met. Our first long kiss happened there with a beautiful night view of San Francisco.
