Hey Girlies! I'm Heather and My husband is Jason. We got married december 18th 2009 by the courts and then on december 18 2010 we had our big wedding! it was beautiful and it was everything thing i could have ever dreamed of.

Advice-

give yourself at least 1 1/2 to plan, thats how long i had to plan mine and i was doing it up until the day before lol.

whatever you think your budget is double it and that is probably what you spend.

dont stress about the little stuff because in the end it really doesnt matter and no one really pays that much attention lol.

So i guess i should put this on here lol, here it goes.... Jake and I started dating april of 2008 and had only been together a week when he left for over seas he was gone for six months and came home in October BUT i didnt get to see him until november because he was living in north carolina and i in Indiana. we finally got to see each other at the end of november when my family took a trip to north carolina to see my brother, which also is how i met my hubby in the first place lol.. he is my brothers best friend haha. anyway.. we spent a week together and then i returned to indiana he came up to Indiana to spend christmas with me and one night ask if i wanted to go out to eat somewhere nice so i said sure and he told me to dress nice as he was wearing his dress blues (very nice military uniform). i wore a red ball gown and we went to probably one of the nicest restaurants in my hometown. my brother and his girlfriend at the time went with us. my brothers girlfriend and i went up to go to the restroom and when we got back our salads that we had ordered were there when i unravelled the silverwear there was my ring i freaked when i went to turn to look at him to where he was sitting he was there at my side on one knee. i couldnt have been more happy and more excited. Now the funny part my brother was going to video record it but didnt know to work the camera so we ended up having to do a mock up version of my hubby on one knee and placing the ring on my finger so they could get picture lol.

it was the best night ever : )

the next day we decided to go and get hitched at the court house   he wore his dress blues and i wore a ivory dress that came to my knees and was practically strapless (indiana gets very cold in the winter and we had to walk like a mile or two to get to the court house i was FFRREEZZZINGG lol). but it was great : )

 for the most part our colors are gold and ivory but there will be some dark reds and dark golds thrown in.

my necklace was my late grandmothers, on my wedding day my aunt passed it down to me.

my shoes were RSVP, and my cousin bought my garter and also gave it to me the day of the wedding.
