There was this boy back in high school,
I simply could not forget
His name was Nick Chronis I still remember where we first met.
Brunyer’s 11th grade History was the class,
How would I have known I’d fall for him so fast.
(Boy did I look like a fool & lose my cool)
It was his kindness, sweetness & humor
That touched my heart,
I still remember praying that we would not part.
Even though things did not work out
when we were young teens,
5 years later he came back into my scene.
Surprise, shock, confusion & excitement
was what I felt,
When I learned that he had feelings for me
which made my heart melt!
Eventually & happily we finally got together
& since then, my life has gotten better.
I love how we make each other
laugh & smile,
I hope we stay together for more than while.
I have & will always
cherish, appreciate & love Nick Chronis &
I thank the good Lord for this wonderful
blessing of a bonus! ;)

Nick the Slick proposed in a way I could not say NO because he put me on the spot in front of everyone! haha just kidding. But seriously, my creative, sweet & very romantic Nick had a very thought-out/clever plan of proposal.

On May 18, 2008, I had a graduation party at his parents' house. Nick's parents Greg & Joyce helped Nick conduct his plan of leading me to believe we were playing an innocent scavenger hunt game. Because I am so darn gullible & oblivious, it worked! I had no idea that he was going to propose! Nick had me find a bunch of clues inside envelopes hidden in the backyard. Joyce got the whole thing on video of me running around like a dork looking for clues but it was so cute & fun! The first envelope read: "FOR YOUR GRADUATION, NOT JUST ANY GIFT WOULD DO. IN ORDER TO FIND YOUR GIFT, YOU MUST FOLLOW EACH CLUE." The search began which led me to the first clue: "LOOK UNDER SOMETHING BLUE, THAT LEADS YOU INTO THE POOL."

Clue #2 was hidden under the blue slide by side the pool which read:"YOUR NEXT CLUE IS HIDING UNDER FOUR LEGS. DON'T WORRY YOU WONT' GET HIT WITH EGGS." This clue took me forever to find (Thank God people where helping me! haha)

Clue #3:"YOU PUT FLOWERS IN IT. IT'S UNDER SOMETHING THAT HAS GREEN ALL OVER IT." I still don't remember where I found that next envelope.

Anyway, Clue #4:"IT'S UNDER SOMETHING THAT IS USED TO COOK. IT IS BIG & SILVER YOU SHOULD KNOW WHERE TO LOOK." By this time I was thinking, "ok, we need to wrap it up now!"

Clue #5:NOW GO BACK TO WHERE YOU BEGAN, ITS UNDER A TABLE & ITS NOT TAN." Don't worry, we're almost done here.

Clue #6:"NOW LOOK OUT TOWARDS THE HIGH SCHOOL. I THINK YOU'LL SEE SOMETHING COOL. BUT WHILE YOU LOOK COUNT OUT LOUD TO THREE, I JUST CAN'T WAIT FOR YOU TO SEE. READ THE NEXT CLUE AFTER PERFORMING THIS WHILE STILL FACING THE SCHOOL."

Final Clue #7:"I JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW HOW MUCH YOU ARE LOVED, & HOW EVERY NIGHT I THANK GOD ABOVE. THAT HE SENT ME MY VERY OWN ANGEL TO LOVE. YOU'RE SWEET, SO SENSTIVE, SO KIND, I WANT THE WHOLE WORLD TO KNOW THAT YOU'RE MINE. FINALLY, IT'S TIME FOR YOUR PRESENT, HOORAY!!! NOW TURN AROUND & RECEIVE IT, OK!"

Then BAM!!! The next thing you know I see Nick on one knee & he popped the famous question, "Will you marry me?" Of course I said yes but not immediately because I was crying like a baby & I was in complete shock. For some reason I kept backing up. If I had backed up any further, I would have fell into the pool. Oh my gosh that would have been hilarious!
