About Jamie

Jamie is an artist and graphic designer who combines her passion for fine art, celebrations, and design and applies them to a wide range of events. Jamie started Jamie Lynn Designs after working in the corporate graphic design field for seven years. While planning her wedding, she discovered it was a perfect fit for her – designing wedding and special event invitations, stationery, and announcements.

Jamie graduated from Bradley University in 2002 with a degree in Graphic Design. She also has a variety of fine arts training which has proven to be an invaluable influence on her designs. She studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and the Harrington School of Design.

When she is not designing event materials, Jamie is working on decorating her home with drawings and paintings or baking for her friends and family. Jamie grew up in Arlington Heights, Illinois and now lives in Chicago with her husband.

She has traveled to a variety of places including Miami, L.A., New York City, and outside the United States including a European tour that ended with a proposal from her now husband. Traveling is another passion of hers that continues to influence her designs.
