Our ceremony took place in the Court of Honor at the museum entrance to the Legion of Honor in San
Francisco.
Our florist was Mary O'Connor (Out of the Weeds)
We chose this site because of its proximity to our home in a neighborhood we have come to love. From a lighting perspective, the ideal ceremony start time would be 5pm instead of
6pm. The flowers were lit in the most beautiful sunlight before the ceremony as our guests sat and waited for the procession. The Legion, however, only allows ceremonies to begin at 6pm, after the museum closes, unless you get married on a Monday
when the museum is closed. If you're planning to get married at the Legion, I have lots of advice.
Lots of beautiful pictures to be taken at this epic venue! The recession headed straight for the Court's
entry gate and toward the balustrade with the Golden Gate and Marin headlands in the background.
After looking through many, many stationary albums, I came across a company that I just fell in love with:
hello!lucky out of Dog Patch here in the city.

I visited the production studio, collected gorgeous letterpress samples, and loved everything. Unfortunately, hello!lucky was out of my price range
:(
A couple months later, a good friend, suggested I look on Costco's website for my stationary since they carry a hello!lucky line for 25% off! We chose a design from
Costco.

I love the invitations we chose since they weren't flowery, at my husband's request, and the graphic resembled the waves of the ocean. We're both surfers.
Monique Lhuillier was the designer for me. I loved every dress I saw because of her vintage-inspired, eclectic
style. Monique is a hapa who grew up in the Philippines and Paris.

I bought my dress at the Bridal Galleria in the Embarcadero Center. They are not customer service oriented. Enough
said.
Julia Baca for Suede Salon in San Diego did my hair. Julia's been a close friend for many years. We flew her and her husband up for the weekend, and I'm so glad she was with me on the day
of.

Selyca Medford formerly a seasoned vetran for MAC and currently of the quite prestigious Shu Uemura did
wonders for my makeup. She was recommended by another friend, Linnea, and did a fantastic job! She was such a wonderful and professional person to work with. Truly a pleasure to have around on such a hectic and highly emotional day, which as you will
soon find out is really important! I would highly recommend Selyca as she made me look and feel so beautiful, but not overly made-up on my wedding day. My bridal party and our mothers looked stunning as well. It was by far the most attractive day
of our lives :) She is a master of special event make up. Her rates are fair and worth every penny!

My all-time favorite color is aquamarine. I knew I wanted a short, black, full-skirt dresses, and aqua
necklaces. I found the perfect bridesmaid necklace at banana republic, and the dresses at BCBG. The women at the BCBG store in Union Square were so helpful!
The men wore black suits and ties we found at macy's.
Saralynn Reece recently opened a delightful cupcakery on Union and Steiner in San Francisco called 'That Takes
the Cake.' Her cupcakes are perfect in that they aren't too sweet, the flavors are rich and delicious, and the frosting is unbelievable!

Saralynn is both professional and really friendly. She
helped us choose 4 flavors to serve at the wedding, which was a tough decision because the 7 flavors she delivered to us for our complimentary tastings were all incredibly good.
My MIL, Debbie, wrapped stacking boxes in satin and embellished
them with ribbon. The 'cake' was a hit, and our friends still compliment us on the ridiculously delicious cupcakes.
