I finally got my dress! I'm so excited. It's Priscilla of Boston from the Vineyard collection. It's strapless Organza fit to flare gown with sweetheart neckline and intricately draped tiers. It didn't take to me long to figure out this was the dress for me!
I love the natural flow of the dress!
We booked Erica Berger to be our photographer. She was the first photographer we met and knew she would be perfect. The composition and photojournalist style of her photos were what sold my fiance and I, not to mention her bubbly personality. She has a passion for her craft and you can see it through her photos...
Here are just samples of photos she has taken of other brides....JUST GORGEOUS!
If you want to contact her....
Check out her flickr page...

My FI and I spend most of this weekend finishing up our save the dates....
here is the finished product....lemme know what you think!
So since my wedding colors are like the colors of a calla lily, white, off white, green, and yellow....I don't want the groom and groomsmen to wear black...especially because the bridesmaid dresses are yellow....too much like a bumble bee... I am thinking heather grey or charchol grey. Below are some ideas I am playing around with...
I am defintately having the groomsmen wear a yellow tie and the groom with a cream/ivory tie to match my wedding dress.
I've finally decided on the direction I want to go for my wedding favors. I love to bake so I am thinking about baking some type of cookie as the wedding favor. Here are a few ideas I am playing with.
These are all pictures I got from marthastewart.com. I love her teams ideas...They are alway so creative and amazing!

After an entire year of planning, it's finally over. I have mixed emotions about it. On one hand, I'm happy to have my normal life back again where I can focus on other things. On the other hand, I'm sad because I will never ever have the chance to plan another BLOW OUT party like this ever again.
On my wedding day, I cried like a baby. Everything was just so overwhelming and the only way I know how to express emotion is through tears. They were of course tears of joy mixed with nervousness. Not nervousness of marrying my honey bunney but more about being the center of attention the entire night. I'm more of a behind the scenes kind of person and this BIG FAT CHINESE WEDDING was everything I could have hoped for, but also took me out of my comfort zone.
I'll post pictures as soon as I get them!
Like every wedding, here are some HOOK-UPS stories on my wedding day...

My DJ and a friend from high school (who has a BF)!
Here is a pic to me (in my wedding dress) and my bridesmaids....
