On August 23rd, 2008 we went out to my favorite resaurant Roman Cucina in Newport Beach, After we had drinks at Las Brisas in Laguna Beach. After drinks Kyle insisted we go for a walk near the cliffs of the beach. So we walked around talking about maybe getting engaged soon. (I already had picked out a ring) But he couldn't find a good bench to sit and talk. He was getting nervous and he never gets nervous so I just kept thinking this is kinda odd. So after walking around for a bit we found an empty bench to sit at. He was telling me that he would have to talk to my parents and daughter before he could ask me to marry him. I told him yes he would need to do that. He then looks over and asks me to marry him. I just said "what, your doing it now"? And then I said YES! I was SO surprised even though we had been talking about it for awhile. He told me he had had already talked to everyone and gotten permission:)

We decided to get married on the 2 year anniversary of the day we met.  

We will have our wedding ceremony at The Cathedral Of Our Lady Of The Angels, Los Angeles CA. I'm an interior designer so the overall look of the wedding is important to me and I love this contemporary church! It is absolutely stunning inside. We are blessed to have it here.

Our reception will be at The Westin in Pasadena, CA.

We had our engagement pictures taken at Griffith Observatory by our photographer vendor Harvard Photography. We had a date there early on we first started dating. We had some sentimental moments there and that is why we picked this location.

This the dress inspiration. Minus the flowers though. It took me forever to find anything close. I went to over 20 bridal salons! The last place I went to was down the street to The Dresser in Fullerton and wouldn't you know- that is where I found the closest thing!! Always where you least expect it. I went all over Southern California and all along my dress was only 3 miles away!! My dress had the right bones, but the interior designer in me had to make some adjustments- It will be in silk, and fitted through the body.Then it will look like this with out the flowers...
