Jon proprosed to me on April 22, 2004. We were living in the Washington, DC area, but just moved to the Bay Area in mid July. I grew up in the Bay Area and moved to DC to be with Jon. Although we knew of each other online for several years, we first met in person at a wedding. Haha, I guess that old saying at which I used to laugh can be true sometimes. We started off as a long distance relationship until I moved to be with him. We knew that eventually we would move to the Bay Area. Both of our careers revolve around computers, so Silicon Valley is the natural place to be!
