We've (me and my FI) been dating for 4 years now, and I'm SO in LOVE! And he proposed in the most romantic
way! He took me to this really nice hotel in Petosky, Michigan (above) this summer and as we were eating dinner, over-looking Lake Michigan, watching the sunset, he pulled out the ring! I was ecstatic! I'm finally engaged!
Here are the engagement photos! I love them...they turned out great!
This is our color pallet! I love these colors together! We're going to do a little bit darker purple, but generally this is it. We're using green cybidium orchids the most as far as flower go. These colors really look nice together and I really love them!
These are my absolute favorite dresses! I can't wait to try them on at my local bridal shop!
Ok...so the dress I actually chose doesn't really look like the ones above, but I LOVE it! If fit's me perfectly!
All that's inspiring me in the planning of my wedding. :) I have orchid fever!
I absolutely love all of these hair ideas, but I will probably be going with the first updo...because I'm going for a more elegant look in my wedding. I feel that that hair do really matches what I want and hey, it's beautiful!
The MSU campus is such a great place and since we both graduated from here, it holds a special place in our hearts. The church above is Central United Methodist and it's where I grew up going to church. I don't have any inside pics, but it is beautiful! The University Club is where the reception will be. I'm VERY excited for our wedding day!
My bridesmaid are going to be beautiful with these dresses! They picked them out and I'm really excited!
Okay so #3 is the dress that they will be wearing! The MOH's dress (my sister, Amanda) is going to be strapless.
These are my favorite cake ideas! I really like the second and third ones...the draped fondant and the orchids are what I really want to include in my cake. The first cake just really appeals to me and I don't really know why. :)
So here's all the bling I'm going to be wearing on my wedding day. It's all in the diamond theme...I wanted everything to match my dress and each other.

More and more reasons why I can't wait til the wedding!
These are my favorite bouquet inspiration pics. I've talked to a few florists and they see my inspiration in their heads too! Yay! That second pic is from Melly here on PW, by the way!
Here's the veil that I'm going to wear! I love long veils! I'm planning to bling it up a little with some crystals, and it will go under my bun (in hair section) instead of on top.
Okay, well, this is the groom cake my FI really wants. We're only getting married once, so what the heck! Right? He does love bulldogs so I guess it's ok. The bakery we're going to said they were going to make it better than this inspiration pic...I don't exactly know how...this pic is pretty good...

These are our little furbabies! They are like the best dogs in the world! I love them so much! And they love each other, which is good cuz they're gonna have to move in with each other in about 10 months!!!<-- My 8 month old Thunder (boy) (German Sheperd)
<--4.5 year old Callie (Girl) (Poochan...poodle + bichon friese)
<--Left: Zues (boy) (English Bulldog) Right: Apollo (boy) (American Bulldog) Both 3.5 years old.
:)
THE NEWEST ADDITION:
<--This is Molly! She's a girl, one year old. We got her from a breeder in our area just a
couple weeks ago! She fits in so well with our other dogs and she's adorable! We're so blessed to have her, along with all our other pups!
This is my FI's ring. It's 14k white gold, a diamond, of course! (He loves bling, almost as much as bulldogs!) The price was $1,123 and he loves it! (Phew!) We got it at a local jewelry store, the same place he got mine at. We had to make sure,
of course, that we had matching rings so we both have white gold and diamonds.
