My FH I were somewhat set up by my sister and brother in-law to be at the time.   They were getting married June 16, 2007 and they thought my FH was the male version of me and I was the female version of him, so they decided to match us up together for their wedding. I waited very impatiently on the steps of the church at the rehearsal to see what the guy looked like and if  he was my type and to see if they were telling me the truth about him ( Mind you he was aware of the whole set up himself). Well they were correct, he pulled up to the church and instantly I thought he was adorable and wanted to get to know this guy.  We kept kind of flirting with each other during the rehearsal and the dinner but didn’t really think anything of it at all. The next day while getting our hair and make-up done I had a weird phone number call me, so I answered and it was my FH calling to tell me he was going to go take a nap and was wondering if I wanted to join him…Well at that point I was blushing and all the girls in the wedding party were laughing and giggling and then I found out that was in the parking lot coming in to give us all our flowers so he was teasing just trying to get a reaction out of me… Then during the ceremony we were asked to pray and I happened too look up and look over and he was staring at me and gave me a wink and right there I got butterflies and knew I wanted to pursue this guy. Then we got in the limo and he nonchalantly reached down and held my hand. We eventually arrived at the reception and  we danced and had a blast together then and at the end of the night he kissed me while we danced to "At Last"…. Ever since then we have been inseparable.

My FH took me to Bar Harbor, Maine for our 2 year anniversary.  We went to a really nice Italian restaurant for dinner and toasted to our anniversary.  After we went to dinner Eric asked me if I wanted to go down by the water and take pictures, so we walked down by the water but I stared to get kind of cold so I asked if we could go back to the hotel to change into warm clothes and then we could come back. So being the wonderful man that he is he agreed and we walked back to the car. As we got to the car I realized that we didn't get any pictures of us all dressed up for the occasion, so I asked if we could go back and take pictures then we could go change. Soooo we went back… My FH went and asked this adorable English couple if they would mind taking our picture, they agreed so we walked into a little park and they took 2 pictures of us, I thanked them then my FH asked if they would mind taking just one more picture...Well on the third picture my FH got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.....I said "YES" without any hesitation.  We are so thankful that we have pictures to remember the special moment of the day he proposed.
