So in my search for the perfect Wedding Cake...we have been toying with the idea of having a Nightmare Before Christmas Cake. Our wedding will be a combination of Glossy Black Goodness with Damask and
a touch of Fuschia for a pop of color =) ...and we'll have a very subtle hint of Nightmare Before Christmas throughout.
Sooooooo...we're torn with the idea of doing a Damask type cake or a Nightmare Before Christmas themed cake. We
don't want anything cheesy...but something very tasteful. Well....we found these three amazing cakes!!!
At first you may think it's a lil morbid...but my family knows we're huge Nighmare Before Christmas fans so I don't think they would find it out of the ordinary for us at all =)
The baker we've
been talking with said she could also try to do a mixture of damask with the Nightmare B4 Xmas theme...Check out the Damask Jack Skellington print I sent her for reference =) I also love the black & white silhouetted version of Jack & Sally
=)

the damask jack one would be so beautiful!! maybe some fuscia ribbon and pearls around the base of the layers, and a jack and sally cake topper. do you have your toasting flutes yet? cause i have some nightmare ones. ;) may require some searching. |
Hmm Damask and Jack....Looks like they are simply meant to be ;)
