The Planning Process

I have to admit that I was already planning our wedding well in advanced to becoming engaged. We had a lot friends getting married as we were dating and I picked their brains about the planning process. I researched ideas for invites, decor, music and the wedding dress. Once we became engaged a lot of decisions regarding these aspects were easier to make.
I had such a great time planning our wedding.I would love to offer advice and support to future brides via this website. I echo the advice given by other brides, the best research you can do is to go with suggestions and recommendations of vendors other couples have used. This saves so much time and leg work which is the majority of stress that makes planning a wedding so daunting. I had an idea of what I wanted my wedding to look and feel like before I began making lists of vendors to call and meet with. I also recommend buying a planning book which helps keep you organized and can be taken to all of your vendor meetings. There were moments when I told my then fiancee, we should have just gone to Vegas (weddings can bring out drama with family and friends, its just a given)but in the end our day was beautiful, special and I wish I could experience it all over again!
