It's like saying goodbye to a friend who's moving out of the country! (not quite but...) I have been trying to lose these last stubborn 10 lbs and I just cannot seem to do it! I keep falling off the wagon and then getting back on again only to find that hidden box of chocolate brownies or yellow cake in the back of the cupboard days later.
Some of the things that I love:
- Chocolate anything! (m&m's are on top of that list)
- Waking up early for breakfast (or going out to try a new brunch menu if I feel like sleeping in til 9am ;P)
- Sushi and sushi rolls (pack on the special sauces please!)
So as you can probably tell, being in the food industry, I just love food and I love to eat. Although I try to cut back on trying new restaurants with my fiance (it can get expensive! ), sometimes I can't get to the gym as much as I want.
I have decided that today will be the day I record my progress. Yes, I have 8 months to lose 10 lbs, but I also have the holidays to deal with. Ah! It's going to be a challenge. Starting today I have decided to cut 100-200 calories from my diet! That's about one bag of M&Ms...half of a big cookie...a couple bites on my plate. Easy right? Right! I have also decided that fruits and vegetables are my friends so pass the brocolli!
I've sort of fallen off my workout wagon for the past 2 weeks now (Instead of 4 times a week, I've trickled down to 2 times a week) sooo here is what I plan on doing from now until Nov. 1st (5 weeks):
- MON/WED/FRI : Gym 30 minutes of cardio and 15 minutes of abs and strength training (mainly jiggly arms)
- TUES/THUR: 20 minute walk after dinner
- SAT: 30 minute walk/jog combo with Juicy (parents' dog)
- SUN: rest day
I am hoping to shed about a pound a week which I think is very do-able but...temptations, temptations! haha. I'm going to try my very hardest and am hoping that fiance wants to get in on it too for some motivation! I work better with a little motivation!

Hey I got your post! Yea, I'm trying to lose 10 lbs too!! We can do this together, I'll try and check up on you to make sure you're on track :) I just ate some chicken pho today and once that digests I'm going to try and run for atleast 30 minutes. I LOVE chocolate, its been hard not eating it, but I've found substituting it with half a cup of slightly sweetened ice tea works (so far). Good luck!!!

The workout is still going! I started playing tennis so working out isn't as much as a chore. I've been spinning less and trying to run. I kinda hit a plateau with spinning so I've taken a break with that and trying other things. Hmm what else...oh I have started snacking on edaname instead of chocolate and brownies lol. Eating TOO much is my weakness, so I've taken another PW's advice and started using cake plates to eat on...I think it's working :) Keep me updated on your progress!!! I'm trying to get to 110 by this weekend or next week...ahhhh!!!
