Once Upon a time...........Our story began even before we were born. His Mom was one of my moms bridesmaid and his parents got together at our parents wedding. One year later when we were born two weeks apart our parents joked th at one day we would grow up and get married. It was destiny for us to be together because even after our parents went there separate ways we still managed to meet each other. We started dating when we were freshman in high school at the age of fourteen and we were very surprised to hear that our parents knew each other and even more when they had “arranged” our marriage ;-) . Since we meet so young we feel as we grew up together and now we get to grow old together. Below: Our history in pics.

Finally after 12 years..... First of all he asked for my parents blessing before he actually proposed which I really appreciated.. That evening Eduardo surprised me with a dinner cruise down Newport Coast. He arranged for our table to have balloons and a bottle of champagne and even shrimp cocktail ( I love shrimp). There was even a dj on the boat playing request. After a yummy dinner we went on the top deck to watch the stars above . We even got a little lesson from the captain who let us steer the boat, well I was too scared but Eduardo did it. After blowing out a candle from my creme brulee we drove home to what I thought was birthday cake from my mom. I actually didn't want to go home because my friends were waiting for me at Dave n Busters, but Eduardo had a not so good excuse for us to go home first. When we got to the corner of my house eddie asked me to close my eyes because he had a present for me outside and he didn't want me to see it. He drove in to the drive way and came around opened my door and kept one hand on my eyes and with the other held my hand and led me up some steps to my front porch. He then asked me to open my eyes and thats when I saw my whole porch lid up with lots and lots of tea light candles all over and posted on the window was a hand painted WILL YOU MARRY ME sign, I was really really surprised and speechless. He then went on one knee told me some really loving things and asked me if I would marry him, I replied with yes ! he then put the ring on my finger and asked “did you say yes?” haha and yes i did and he can check cause my brother recorded the whole thing so we will always be able to relive that special day. Below: Pic of that night.

Pure. Rare. Eternal....... He choose my engagement ring himself and I LOVE it so much its exactly what I would have picked. Its a Coast three stone set in Platinum with hand engraving etching all around the ring. It also has a small heart detail and swirl design below the diamonds in yellow gold. Its a vintage design which was something I always wanted.
Since my ring had so many details it was hard to find wedding bands that would match. After much searching we decided to have our Bands costumed made from some inspiration photos. They are both Platinum Bands to match my e-ring and both with hand engraving all the way around. The Jeweler did an amazing job the came back perfect. Below: Our Inspiration ring and our actual wedding bands

On a cold day in Laguna Beach..... We had so much fun taking our engagement pic . He didnt really want to get wet but I splashed him with water first then he splashed back . Our Videographer was there too and he captured a little highlight video of the day .

I do....We choose St. Josephs Church for our ceremony because we both loved the architecture and style of the church. We had a traditional religious ceremony.

Here comes the Bride ..We decide to have a harpist play at our ceremony. We choose the talented Carla Bray who has played for artsist such as Kanye West and appeared on TV shows. I know it will create a romantic and peaceful atmosphere. To hear her play visit her website www.carlabray.com
The Happiest Place on Earth... We both LOVE Disneyland and have celebrated many anniversaries there as well. We wanted to have our wedding reception at Disney's Grand Californian not only because its gorgeous but also because we know that it will be Magical and it will truly be a Fairy-tale Day that we will always remember. ">

Let them eat cake..... I will ask if its possible to mix a little of these 3 cakes to make the cake that will not only taste good but look good too. I want elegant and timeless with a touch of mickey. Three layers bottom and top mickey wave with crystal sash and middle tier damask patter than matches our invites and menu cards. For topper we will have a white chocolate cinderella castle. Below: Inspiration pic and our wedding cake.

I tried and tried again.... Dress shopping was one of the many fun experiences of planning a Wedding. I enjoyed going shopping with my Mom, MOH, and friends. I went to so many shops and tried on so many dresses until I finally found the ONE. Below: Pic of me trying out gowns.

Finding the One..... I fell in love with my gown once I tried it on. It is a gorgeous white silk Eve of Milady Gown.

The Dress Alterations... I just had two fitting with Mahtab. The first was when I took my dress and the last when I picked it up. She was very accommodating and really nice. My aunt sewed a belt of crystal a day before the wedding. Below: Pic of last fitting.

The Grooms Look...Eddie wanted to look smokin too and his attire was just as important so he tried on a lot of suits too. I think we went into every single suit store in South Coast Plaza. He choose this stunning black Armani Suit and a white silk tie that matched my dress.

The Make- Over.... I had two Make-up trials. The first one was the same day as our engagement pic session done by Cheek Couture. The second Make-up trial done By Micheline Pitt, who was amazing ! I liked both but my mom and MOH liked my second trial better. Below: Pic of the trials. Sorry for the lack of quality due to me being in the car and one being a phone pic.
The Bridesmaids The Maid of Honor
We have chosen this styles for the Brides Maids The Maid of Honor will wear a similar Jim Hjelm Dress also
Jim Hjelm Dress all in eggplant and same black lace. in Eggplant and black lace.

OurTrue labor of Love...We searched for months for an invite that we would love but we did not find anything we loved and some that we liked were ridiculously expensive. Finally we ended up in paper source and they showed us the embossing magic and we decided to DIY our own. I came up with a Design and we both worked on a rough draft. It took us a while to finish them but we really fell in love with them. I think they are the most beautiful invites I have seen. The outside was fabric with eggplant ribbon and silver embossing with a crystal mickey. The inside was black self made pocket fold with turquoise and eggplant embossing. Our RSVP envelope had disney stamps and a self made return address bordered sticker.

The envelopes where pretty too...We ordered black envelopes online and had them addressed by Calligraphy Katrina in silver ink. She also did the return address. You cant really see from the Photo but the back was also embossed with our Monogram and to seal the envelope we bought clear mickey stickers. We also ordered custom stamps from zazzle with our monogram.

The Trial Run..... I had ten tall centerpieces and four short centerpieces. The tall had 3 cylinder vases surrounding it and small votive candles. We bought floralytes that illuminated the inside of the vase and added hanging crystal on the tall centerpieces. The flower were purple and pink roses, purple tulips, purple, pink, and periwinkle hydrangeas.

The Bouquets....I wanted my bouquet to be classic and beautiful and I decided it to be all white roses with crystals and the stem was wrapped in crystals to add some bling. For the BM I wanted roses as well to match my bouquet but also deep eggplant cala lilies and periwinkle hydrangeas to match with the whole color scheme.

What ever Happens in Vegas...?? All of our group stayed in a penthouse level suite at the MGM signature and we had a blast ! but what ever happens in Vegas definitely does not stay in Vegas :P
Below: Pic of the night... Well at least the tame ones.

So Yummy in our Tummy.... The food and the service was the best at our food tasting . Disney made this a wonderful experience and made us feel even more confident than before that our guest would love the food and definitely not leave hungry, We had our own private dining room and were introduced to the main Chef and main Baker just to discuss our Menu. Not only that they introduced us to so many other people know as Captains that would be in charge of all the other things. Also they had so many options of how we would like our napkin to be folded a little overwhelming but very unforgettable. Below: pic of food and Menu.
