it happened while we were in paris last summer... this is the short but sweet version. we were at the eiffel tower walking around and taking in the lights of paris. i was ready to go back to our hotel because it was rainy and cold but FI still wanted to walk around. he stopped me at a spot that overlooked the seine river and the notre dame. he began to tell me how he felt about me and then he said he had a surprise for me. at this point i was crying and when i opened my eyes, he was on one knee with a ring in his hand. i heard him say "will you marry me?" and of course i said yes!! i was on cloud nine the entire time we were in paris...
