FI asked my MOH, who is my old college roomie and sister i never had, to come with him to pick out the engagement ring. they went to the jewelry mart/gift center in sf. the funny thing is he didn't know that the weekend before they went ring shopping she and i were talking about what cut i did and didn't want. so she knew that i wanted princess cut. he picked out the setting and band himself. he picked out a really beautiful ring.
