we decided to name each table after places we have been to - eiffel tower, arc de triomphe, buckingham palace, laguna beach, monterey, north shore, waikiki beach, empire state building, times square, disneyland.  just to name a few (we had 24 tables!).

i got the idea to do lanterns from fellow pw'er abattyref.  i saw her lanterns and thought that they were so cute.  i made the lanterns with brown card stock and used green and pink as the mats and then printed everything on cream paper.  on one side it was the name of the table along with a picture of us at that place, the other side it was a little story about the place we visited, then we added the program and menu on the next two sides.  it came out really cute and our guests actually took some of the lanterns home as a keepsake!
