So our centerpieces have grown and shifted a bit throughout the process of planning.  First we have these fabulous tins as the base to the entire things.  My mom found them at Target in the dollar spot last spring and we snatched up 20 of them.  Then we spray-painted them white a few weeks later.

We're planting an ivy-type plant in each of these tins pre-wedding called Bridal Veil (fitting, right?).  It has really dark green leaves that are purple on the underside and has tiny white flowers.  The day-of we'll add some fresh daisies (possibly roses, too) and a few taper candles.

And the porcelain tea-light holder in that picture?  We'll either use those to line the head table, cake table, and/or the card table, OR we'll place one at each table to add to the centerpiece.  Which leads me to the rest of the centerpiece idea....

We're going to add various votives to each table, but they're all going to be different shapes, sizes, whatever!  Basically to help costs (and so we don't end up with a hundred little glass votives we don't need) we're borrowing glass votive holders from friends and family.  Here are some pics of what my mom picked up from my grandma's house last week!

Trying to decide between these two settings

After staring at this one, I'm thinking of removing the porcelain tea light holder and adding a lot more glass votives.  Also imagine flowers in the tin and another vase of flowers/candy dish to the empty space.

Idea #2

Cake stand with candles and flowers around the candles.  Simple and unfussy.  But not totally in love.
