 Since we are getting married outside, and having the reception in a barn, I am thinking of going for a RUSTIC CHIC look. This is a surprise to me because I am in the interior design field and I love all things modern and contemporary, but after looking at all of my inspiration pics together, it just fit!

Brides Bouquet

I love peonies, ranunculus and garden roses. These will all be in my bouquet in different shades of PINK

Bridesmaid Bouquets

I love the first and second inspiration, especially the anemones & queen anne's lace

Centerpieces

 < love the idea of doing a submerged centerpiece

 Mock-Up. Debating about putting a submerged flower in the mason jar or river rocks or something else?

After touring a few venues in the area, we decided to have our wedding & reception at the same venue, The Willow Tree Inn. UPDATE: since our original Venue closed before we put our deposit down we had to find a new place. We are now having both the ceremony and reception at Polen Farms. It is similar to the Willow Tree because it has a barn as the reception venue. 

*SHOES*

so I am going to have a problem deciding which shoes I want to wear the day of. I've found like 4 pairs I love, but I am definitatly going to wear pink!

 *ACCESSORIES*

I decided I wanted to wear only some dangly earrings and a bracelet, no necklace. I'm also going to wear my hair on the side so a flower hair accessory will look great I think! Here's things I've found so far, mostly on Etsy.

I think this bracelet goes with my dress perfect!

*VEIL & HAIR*

*MAKE-UP*

I love my ring so much! We picked it out together and both knew it was the one. It is part of Verragio Classic collection. It's so sparkly!!!

Ceremony

 tissue pomanders will line the benchs along the aisle and also decorate the gazebo. They will be in ivory and different shades of pink

Reception

guest tables will have white polyester linens with burlap runners

 My grandma will be making the table runners

Flowers will be scattered on all the tables (bridal party table, cake/dessert table, guest book/cards, bar, etc.) in various "vases" like barnwood planters, galvanized buckets, and mason jars

Other things include:

Bridesmaids

the girls will be able to choose their own style in a chiffon, knee length dress

Flower girl

 I love this dress! It's made my "Classy Sassy Girls" on Etsy. My flower girl will wear this in either ivory or navy. Possibly with a sash and matching flower headband

Groomsmen

for an outdoor ceremony and reception in a rustic barn; I thought tan suits would be more appropriate and less formal looking. Plus I think it will look great with the pink bridesmaid dresses!

Still undecided on ties-matching pink or mismatched pink to coordinate with each bridesmaid?

Menu

in keeping with the rustic & casual theme we are having good down home ol' fashioned food. A catered buffet including:

• Fried Chicken
• Pulled Pork w/ assorted BBQ sauces
• Herbed Green Beans
• Homemade Mac & Cheese
• Mashed Potato Bar

Dessert

we will do cupcakes instead of the traditional cake; however still have a small cake for us to cut into! Something like the below pictures but only 1 tier.

Will also do a "dessert bar" with cake pops, and assorted candies. yummmy!!

we will be having an open bar with assorted beers, liquors, and wine. We can bring in our own alcohol
