So I originally thought that I wanted a plain white cake with orange and pink flowers.  Plain and simple.  Everyone who gets married in the OBX picks either this shiny shell cake or one with two beach chairs on the top of it.  I was going to be DIFFERENT! 

WELL!  At the wedding expo last weekend I saw the shell cakes in person.  They are SO beautiful!  I have changed my mind.  Now, I I am going to follow the OBX tradition and get a shell cake!

Melinda from Just Desserts is booked for the 7th!  I am most looking forward to the tasting! :)
