My fiance and I met at a party at his old apartment, on the 4th of July. I was so excited when he asked for my number (to go surfing together sometime). Now we are gettined married 6 years later, on 7-4-09.
My fiance proposed to me on the top of a mountain we climbed in China. 
My fiance and I are avid travellers. We knew we did not want a big, traditional wedding. Instead we are having a destination wedding in Costa Rica! We have been to Costa Rica before and chose it because it is beautiful and they have a good sized wedding industry. We are expecting around 50-60 guests. This is the spot where we will be married.
Our colors are aqua and red. Red is my favorite color and I thought aqua would look great on the beach. Here is an inspiration board I love (from http://snippetandink.blogspot.com/)
My bridesmaids had the choice of these dress (in tropical aqua):



I want to lose 20 pounds for my wedding. I am already down 7 and lost over 2 inches in my waist! I will feel like I have a long way to go and not sure if I have time.
What I'm Doing:
- Personal training 2x per week (with 1/2 hour of cardio before)
- Spinning 2x per week
- Yoga 1x per week
- Cardio on my own 1-2x per week
- Bringing lunch and dinner to work every day (I work late)
- Only 1 alcoholic drink per week! (by far, the biggest sacrifice)
UPDATE: May 22 (6 weeks from wedding)
I am keeping with the same schedule and am down a total of 13 pounds! Now I need to lose a bit over 1 pound a week to meet my goal, which should be hard with my bachelorette weekend coming up (we are wine tasting). I am keeping the same schedule as above but will but cut out drinking entirely the last month. Also, I am down 2 dress sizes. Woohooo!
UPDATE: June 12 (3 weeks until wedding)
I have really stepped it up! I am down a total of 18 pounds! I only have 2 more to lose and then need to focus on not gaining (especially with all the pre-wedding festivities). I am not drinking at all and working out 6 days a week. I have b-pics tomorrow and it is so great to feel cute again!
Here is my current workout schedule:
- Personal training 3x per week (with 1/2 hour stairmaster before)
- Running treadmill 2x per week (on treadmill 45 mins)
- Running outside 1x per week (3 mile trail)
- Trying to get in yoga or the occasional spin class (spin got too easy)
- NO DRINKING! (at all, so hard...)
Update: June 27 (2 weeks until wedding)
Met my weight loss goal today!!!! I lost 20 pounds total and am down to my college weight of 127. It feels amazing. Now I just need to be very good this last week.
My Plan:
- Running every morning (before eating breakfast)
- High protein, low carb diet
- 100 push ups, 60 tricep dips & and ab routine each night
- Drinking: I can have 1 drink at rehearsal dinner & 1 at welcome cocktail party. Sounds reasonable, right?
Since our wedding is on the smaller side we are having long tables. I want different size vases with different types of flowers in each vase. Here are some pictures I am using for inspiration. They are all from Colin Cowie (who I love!) Our flowers will be red.
