While after ceremony photos were being taken with the bride and groom, we had cocktail hour for our guests. The reception was held at the Lakeside Room of Westlake Village Inn, and it has a perfect outdoor patio next to a pond. It was here a bar was set up along with several chairs and tables for guests to mingle while hor d'oeuvres were past around.
Menu included:
- Goat Cheese and Carmalized Onion Tartlet
- Seared Ahi Tuna on Crisp Won Ton with Ponzu Sauce
- Marinated and Grilled Lamb Pops with Mint Chutney
- Provence Bruschette with Roma Tomatoes, Fresh Basil and Greek Olives.
In addition, Mark Tortorrici and the Hollywood Combo played during the hour. They are a swing band out here in the Los Angeles area. Mark and I met while swing dancing and became good friends. He offered to play as a wedding
present.

Your menu sounds DELICIOUS. We're definitely doing the seared ahi tuna on crispy wonton as well for our cocktail hour. I'm seeing this pop up quite a bit now.
Your wedding looked fantabulous! Such a beautiful bride :) I loved all the details.
