I'm the MOH for my childhood bestie's wedding on June 6, 2009. I've always enjoyed party planning but I haven't planned a wedding since my own in 1994! In my research, I came across PW. I am beyond ecstatic. Things have really changed since 1994 when decorating with balloons and streamers was the "in" thing to do!
I am now the official "wedding planner" for this wedding in June. I'm not complaining, just "re-learning". I'm amazed at you women out there and how creative you all are.
So when I ask for advice (which isn't always the best question and probably sounds very naive), you'll have to excuse me. I'm learning all over again.
Thanks to those of you have accepted me and helped me along the way. I greatly appreciate it!
All of my DIY items are either a gift for the bride and/or shower DIY. Aside from the wedding programs I did.
This is the purse I bought the bride before the embellishments. $5.00!!! One of the many
gifts I've gotten her.
Purse with embellishments. Total: $7.00!!

Instead of your "normal" candy scoops, I found these and thought these were cute. Added the ribbon and
viola!
This is my candy buffet mock-up for the shower.
Wedding programs...total disappointment with the lighting.
Bought this manzanita branch at Pier 1 on clearance for $5.00. Will decorate this with crystals and it'll
be used for the "Wish tree" at the shower.
These are the "wish tickets" for the wish tree along with the "Wishes for the Mrs" jar.
