:: INSPIRATION ::
Gray vests and pants, with white custom Chuck Taylors (our gift to them). We liked the lighthearted, casual feel of this look; kind of modern and vintage, at the same time! We searched high and low to find matching gray suit vests and pants, and it was hard to find something that met all of our needs (the exact look, affordable, easy to obtain without us fronting the money or forcing our GMs to buy them now). So we had to adjust our plans a bit.
:: REALITY ::
GROOM
Gray tuxedo, white shirt, ivory vest, ivory tie, white Chuck Taylors
GROOMSMEN & MAN OF HONOR
Gray tuxedo, white shirt, gray vest, coral tie, white Chuck Taylors
*After the ceremony, they will take off their jackets, roll up their sleeves, and hopefully have a similar look to our original inspiration pic above.*
JUNIOR GROOMSMEN & RING BEARERS
Black suit, white shirt, coral tie, black Chuck Taylors
DADS
Black tuxedo, white shirt, black vest and coral tie
Conclusion: Not what we originally planned, but we think it will still look sharp! :-) All menswear will be provided by Men's Wearhouse.
Some ties we found during our original search. Might help someone else looking for ideas :-)

THIS IS TOTALLY OUR LOOK FOR THE BOYS TOO :) YAY!!!! I HAVE THE SAME INSPIRATION PICTURE AND WE WILL DO THE GRAY SUITS WITH FUSCHIA ACCENTS... I LOVED THE CASUAL LOOK OF THIS TOO THE ROLLED UP SLEEVES....THEY LOOK SO COMFORTABLE RIGHT???? WE ARE DOING CUSTOM CHUCKS FOR THE BOYS AND THE GROOM IS GOING TO DO A NEW VERSION OF THE CHUCKS THAT WE SAW ON THE WEBSITE THEY LOOK DIFFERENT AND HE WANTED SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT THAN THE BOYS :) I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE PICS OF YOUR WEDDING!!! |
