It's been over ten years since we met online at AOL. I was chatting it up with his friend who told him he met a really cool girl online who likes cars and drag racing and lives in Newark. So Brian searched for "single girls, drag racing, Newark/Fremont" and stumbled upon me. We started chatting and he seemed really interesting; we had so much in common. He liked fast cars and drag racing, car shows and bikes. We exchanged pictures and oh baby, I wanted that guy and I so fell for him. And so began our journey. We met for the first time a month or so later and because he was scared that I was going to be some "scary, fat chic" (his very words [ew]) he dragged his little brother along in case he needed someone to bail him out of this date. Three of them had the lights turned off, peering through the front window to see WHAT was about to walk up. I was thinking, "did he stand me up?!" Our first date was out to some street races in the Haystack.  I was butt crazy in love with this guy. He ended our night with a kiss on the cheek (for me that was more like a slap in the face - does he not like me?) because he wanted to be a gentleman and I was hooked. We saw each other a few more times. We would both rush home from work to see if the other was on AOL. The rest is history. We've had tons of ups and downs and thankfully lots of patience and understanding to pull us through. I'm a handful (no, really I am) and he puts up with me. He's a handful (you never would have guessed, huh) and I'm patient. It's definitely love!!!
