We have picked our wedding date: June 25, 2011. The day my grandmother & grandfather got married!
On this particular night I had two birthday celebrations that I was invited to. The last birthday celebration was for one of my best friends, and she was having a bowling night. I knew most of the people there, but there were two guys that were not familiar. During the night eveyone was drinking and bowling, and I had the role of taking pictures of everyone. Well the two guys were kinda stand offish, so to make them feel more comfortable I went over with the camera and asked to take their picture. If you were to ask Eric, he said I was trying to get his attention, but really I was just being nice.
The night is almost over and we are going to play once last game. So the guys are asked if they wanted to play and they both said yes. Eric ended up being on my team. I am very competitive and I like to talk a lot of trash. So with that being said, I was talking so much trash to Eric. Of course I was winning..LOL. We ended the game with me winning by one point.
After both games ended, most people started to gather their things and started to leave. At one point I was surrounded by a group of guys ( my bestfriends little & older brother and one cousin), which Eric thought they were trying to hit on me. Even with that thought he still walked over and handed me his business card and told me to contact him.
I liked the fact that he took the initiative to give me his card.
Before leaving the bowling alley, a friend of mine was like " so what do you think about Eric", I was kinda of thrown off because I didn't know they knew each other. My response was with a smile that he seems like a cool person.
I found out that same night that my friend and Eric grew up in the same town and at some point in time grew up together. So that was a good feeling to know that my friend really knew him and had great things to say about him. Also that night Eric called my friend and told her to give me his cell phone number because his business cards only had his work email and phone #.
To make a long story short. I called Eric a few days later and found out he was in town for two weeks on business. I beleive the second time we talked on the phone we had our first date the next night.
He lived in Columbus, GA and I in Atlanta, GA. We saw each other every weekend and soon moved in together after 7months of dating. We have now been together for a little over a year, and I am so HAPPY! The happiest I ever been.
I want my BM's to look good......
I love the flow of this dress! This dress is very stylish! Very classy look!
So FI and I had a hard time trying to find a church, but good thing is we found one that we really like
