We exchanged vows on a moon bridge as 200 of our closets friends and families joined us around the koi pond. We had our snowboarding buddy marry us, thanks to the power of the internet. We also incorporated the Chinese tea ceremony here.

Although we were both born in the US, we wanted to incorporate our Chinese heritage. Each table was given a Chinese character instead of a number. There was a piece of glass placed on top of the table with a spacer in between. Various flowers, branches, broken glass, and other decor was placed in between for a "shadow box" effect.

Handmade boxed invitations. We used wood, orange and green as our theme to match the Japanese garden venue.

We had a traditional Chinese banquet... 10 course seafood meal. :) yum! But we decorated the place so that it could have more ambiance.

All DH's idea. He loves cake and wanted everything to do with cake. :) It was black magic w/ raspberry filling from Porto's Bakery.

This was also his idea. He signed us up for dance class. It was a ball!
