I married the love of my life in August 2009. I know our wedding has already passed, but I would like to share my experience with you. During the wedding planning process, I didn't have time to put together a website or write reviews. Now that this chaotic, stressful, joyful and definately memorable time has passed, I now have the time. Better late than never. =)
I had my hair trial with Giao Nguyen, and I absolutely loved it! She is so sweet, kind and very caring. I booked her for my wedding day, and she also did hair for 5 of my other girls.
The very talented Giao Nguyen also made me this beautiful and lovely hair clip that I wore on my wedding day.
I purchased my wedding gown from Forget Me Knots Bridal in San Francisco, CA.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Ranch Golf Club in San Jose, CA. It's a beautiful venue with views of the surrounding area. The day of our wedding the weather was terribly HOT. I think it was about high 80's.
We booked The Ranch Golf Club in mid/late August 2008. During our time with them we did have to communicate with three different event coordinators, and in the end we ended up with our original event coordinator.
This is a view of the ceremony area, still being setup by my florist. We used the arch that was provided by the venue.
I had my makeup trial with Angela Galura, who I booked for my wedding day. Her prices are very reasonable, and she will make sure you look picture perfect.
I ordered my custom made cake topper from Goose Grease. They arrived about a month before my wedding date. I was not extremely pleased with the outcome, but they did look cute on top of our cake.
For our cake we used The Ranch Golf Club's preferred vendor, Jen's Cake. Jen's Cake is a husband and wife team. Their cake is yummy, moist and delicious. We also ordered some mini cupcakes to use for our candy bar.
I wanted to find a dress for the girls that would cute, comfortable, affordable and fortunately for me all of them loved my choice. This dress if from David's Bridal, their Special Occasions/Party Dress Collection.
For our honeymoon we chose a location that was not too far and somewhere the both of us have not been to yet. So, we decided on the beautiful island of Kauai. We had a wondeful time, and it was the perfect place for us to relax.
We stayed at the Sheraton in Poipu Beach.
The view from our hotel room balcony.
The only complimentary thing we received for being honeymooners. A bottle of champagne, and you could only redeem this if you ate at one of their restaurants at the hotel. I guess times are hard. LOL.
We purchased our wedding rings from Derco at the Gift Center in San Francisco, CA. The decision for picking our rings were pretty simple because we both knew what we wanted. So, our experience at Derco was good, and Lorianne who helped us was great with communicating with us.
