We have been together for 5 years now and are so excited to get married and start our lives together. The way he proposed was a little different than the usual writing in the sky or spelled out with a thousand roses proposal stories you hear of. He actually got me mad at him first. ok, here's the story:We went out to dinner, he drank a few margaritas with dinner which he never does but I guess he was nervous because he was sweating! I wasn't sure if he had got my ring, but I had a feeeling he did. We got home, and he said I hope you don't think I got you a ring because I didn't go anywhere today. I was shocked he would say that! And i got upset and said why even bring it up if you are not going to ask me! That's just wrong! So I went in the bedroom, he followed me and asked if I was upset, I told him to just leave it alone. He then asked if I was upset that he hadn't proposed. i said it's not even about that anymore....then he said, but honey..it is about that. I turned around and he was down on one knee!! I started crying and couldn't even say yes! Finally I said of course! I know it's an unusual way....but I wouldn't have had it any other way. Now it's all about planning! :)
