We were married on October 31, 2004. It is a day that will live in my memory forever.

My BFF knew Adrian from a message board for the band CAKE. He didn't live in California but when he moved here she decided that wanted to visit him (he lived in the bay area and she and I lived in Sacramento), she thought he was cool and she was always looking for an excuse to drive to the bay area. She convinced me to go along with her b/c she wanted some company on the drive and she thought I'd get along with him since he liked CAKE just as much as we did (our favorite band at that time). I didn't want to go, but grudgingly agreed. Adrian and I met on January 18, 2002 and officially started dating on January 25 :) We've been together ever since.

We dated long distance until 2003 when he decided to move to Sacramento. The weekend that he packed up to move coincided with our 2 1/2 year anniversary so we went out to dinner to celebrate and say goodbye to Santa Rosa (where he'd been living). We went to dinner at the restaurant where we had our very first date and while waiting for dessert, he asked me to marry him!
