A traditional Methodist ceremony at the church I grew up in. My pastor married my sister and brother in law, baptised my niece and nephew and even shared a special secret with us. We both grew up Methodist and were excited to have a traditional ceremony..."I will" instead of "I do" and all. For me to have stood where 4 generations of women in my family stood as they married the loves of thier lives made me feel more connceted to my family and faith.
A funny story about A- my niece- 1 pm is total nap time so we were more than keeping her from her beauty sleep and her "anti cranky" too! We weren't sure she'd go down the aisle. I said all along if she wanted to cook if not cool too...hey she is 2 and head strong! Well Pastor allowed us to rearrange our processional so they would follow my mom. Her dad set her down and told her to go with J- and follow Mima. She started down the aisle got scared ran back for her dad who was coming down the side aisle- looked down for her brother and RAN down the aisle to follow him...All we could hear in the back was laughter. To have her and my nephew there- surrounded by family and friends was amazing!
There it is! The most wanted shot the whole day- He face when he saw me in the dress! My mom said all he did was smile and nod the whole time I came toward him! I love him SO much! (And he was looking pretty smashing too!!!)
My sister sobbed the whole ceremony! And so did my other MOH Shelly!
Our first walk hand in hand as Mr. and Mrs.!
