Seth and I met 18 years ago. I was 13 and he was 18. His younger sister Mandi and I went to high school together and quickly became great friends! Fast forward 10 years, and to a night out with Mandi to mend my broken heart after a breakup. Seth joined us, and we and another friend decided to go see a band playing a bar. The lead singer of the band was a girl that Seth had been "dating." We get to the bar, and this girl decides she is more interested in Mandi now than Seth. So, here we both are with "broken hearts" and alot of shots! We had a blast, playing pool and joking around, and just having fun! We started hanging out alot more after that, just he and I, much to the shock of his sister and family ( I called his mom "mom" since they day I met her). Nothing became serious until we took a trip to Las Vegas for Mandi's wedding. It was a real eye opener for both of us, because we finally admitted our deep feelings for each other and decided to give it a shot. Of course like any relationship, there were alot of ups and downs. We parted ways, and didn't see or speak to each other for 4 years, when fate brought us back together. It was like we never were apart. I was always in love with him, and that never waivered thru the years. We were back together for about a month, when he proposed and of course I said yes. I couldn't imagine my life without him.

That was almost 2 years ago, and now in less than a year we will be married. It has been a LOOONGGG and winding road, but worth every bump and step, to get to where we are today.

After thinking I found THE dress and buying it, I really began to regret my decison. The orginal dress was just too plain and NOT me. So I exchanged the dress the other night and bought my new dress. I feel sexy and beautiful and sooooo freaking happy! 

Money has been tight for Seth and I, so my engagment ring has had to wait. UNTIL NOW!! I just ordered the ring and I loooooovvvvve her! It is so different but beautiful! I wanted something that was unique and fun

I am really excited and honored! my mother found her garter she wore on the day she married my father 39 years ago, and has agreed ed to let me borrow it for my big day! Its so special to have that history with me. I am truly blessed.

Something blue- my friends mother gave me a blue cocktail ring when my friend got married, as a thank you for helping with planning the wedding. Her mom has been like another mom to me since I was 5, so wearing that ring on the wedding day is extra special

I have been working on signs to put around for the different things we are having at the reception

The candy bar, the cigar bar, the photo guest book, and the photo booth we are having, and I finished the candy bar sign. Its simple but that's what I love about it. Seth and I are huge movie fanatics, so adding a quote from a movie we love was the final touch of the framed sign. I thought it might be a little distasteful, but when my dad

I had my hair and makeup trial in Feb and finally getting the pics up! Cali from Calista Brides did a FANTASTIC job- My hair will change a bit, since I got bangs since the trial

My girls did a FANTASTIC job with my shower- FI and I are huge movie buffs, so the theme was Movies- My uncle made a huge movie front. We had a popcorn machine, and cupcakes made to look like popcorn. We even played my fav. game "Scene It." I cant believe everything they did for me- I was blown away
