military wife soon to be...

my fiance nick is in the navy. he's currently in the middle east and doesn't come home until the end of september. we've known each other since high school. he was my best friend. we never dated in high school, and after we graduated we both went our separate ways. i started culinary school, and he joined the navy. when we wed in october, i will have another 9 months without seeing my love, and then he is flying me out to greece when he takes his leave to have our honeymoon. there are no words that can describe the way he makes me feel. we have the best relationship. he stay really close even though we're half a world away. we talk every night...for multiple hours (makes for an expensive phone bill). i try my best to keep him happy and to let him know that i care about him. i send off packages every month, sometimes even twice a month. we both try our hardest to make our long distance relationship work. it should be easier when we're married because i will be able to move to his next station with him which will be italy in december 2010. excited and eager, we both want this to happen.
