We both met through our siblings who were dating at the time. My sis and his brother were together (since have broken up and no longer together) and tried setting us up together, however one of us were always dating someone when the other wasn't. Eventually we both ended up single and went out for a few drinks and totally hit it off! Our first date was absolutely magical and knew that we truly were meant to be together and spend the rest of our life together! We had some time apart for a bit but we found our way back to each other. We have been together for (total) 4 1/2 years. John truly is the love of my life, my best friend, my rock, the man I will grow old with.

My sweetie decided to take me camping for the first time to his childhood place that his family used to go to when their little. We went up to Holland, MI and camped out for a couple days. He did everything to make me feel so comfortable and enjoy my first time camping. After we were there for a few days, we biked up to the lake to watch the sunset and took a walk on the pier. We then hiked up a sand dune to watch all of the sail boats come into the harbor with a beautiful sunset in the background. John was professing his love and devotion to me (which he does all of the time so I had no clue what was coming next). He then dropped to one knee and purposed! *crying* We both were crying with happy tears...........it was one of the happiest days of my life!!
We also were very luck o that day! A photog was there at the bottom of the hill taking Senior Portraits and noticed what was happening and stopped us to take a few photos and emailed them to us!
Honeymoon was absolutely AMAZING and soooo relaxing!! This resort had the best service in a resort that we have ever been too. The only drawback, not that much night life, however we still managed to party, relax and enjoy our honeymoon!
