The Story of US:
Jeremy and I met in 2005 at Frostburg State University, in Frostburg, MD when I was a senior and Jeremy was a freshman... The first time we
met I actually don’t even remember it. (Apparently he spent $40 on my best friend and I at two-for-one drink night at the bar however!!! LOL) For a long time we knew of each other but never really crossed paths. We later met
again through a mutual friend and he started showing up at parties at my house. I would always ask "who is that loud kid???" and really never thought we would end up dating especially because of the 3 year age difference and the fact that we never
seriously spent any time together. Eventually Jeremy started coming by the house even when there were no parties going on. We started hanging out ALL the time, doing all types of random things, especially within the last two weeks of the spring semster
of 05’ (which also happened to be Jeremy’s second AND last semester at Frostburg). We formed a friendship and found out that we only lived about 10 minutes away from one another at home and knew a lot of the same people. That summer we
spent all our free time together... we became inseperable and then exclusive... well untill the first of the three breakups... (and yes there were three). Somehow we always managed to come back to one another and find our love again... Over the past
4 years, we have fallen more in love than we could ever imagine, grown together and learned from one another, and have become stronger as a couple than we could ever dream. Through all of our triumphs and tribulations... we have become BEST friends.
We cannot wait to get married and share our special day with all of those we love... and then of course begin our married life together!!!!
Jeremy graduated from college and proposed in the same weekend!!! (He always told me he wanted to graduate before he proposed so doing it the day before was kind of an inside joke between the two of us!!!) We were actually at his graduation party at his parents house (ALL of his family was there and my mom and dad and brother, and also alot of his friends - he didn't tell mine cause he thought they would snitch). Everyone was just hanging out, eating, drinking, talking and having a good time... Jeremy I guess then decided to get up and tell eveyone thank you for coming and supporting him throughout his college career... blah blah blah... I remember noticing how shaky he was (considering he is normally very confident and outgoing when speaking in front of people, especially his family) and wondering what was going on and why he was acting so weird. Then I remember towards the end of the speech he said something along the lines of "oh, and about that thing called love"... the next thing I know he is down on one knee, bawling his eyes out... he eventually got out a "will you marry me???"... it was then I finally realized what was going on... Obviously I said YES!!! and spent the next hour on the phone calling all my friends and celebrating our love!!!! Best Day ever!!!
Engagement Photos (taken by Jeremys friend from college... she did an AMAZING job!!!)
It was so important to us to have all of our closest friends and family members standing by our side on our most special day (and we still dont have everyone we would have liked to have had).
We both have 8 attendants...
Jeremy and the guys... (well most of them, we're missing two)

The Boys
We are having our Reception in the Grand ballroom of this Marriott Hotel :)
I have always pictured my wedding with me in a princess dress dancing with my prince in a huge ballroom... I got that one down pat with this location. :) I really cannot wait to see it all come together!!!
Our Ceremony will take place at Jeremy's family church :) It is a VERY modern church and very BIG inside... :)
Close up of where we will say our vows!!!
9-12-09
The General color Scheme for the wedding is Bright Pink, Light Pink Chocolate Brown and Silver :) I have wanted a "pink" wedding for as long as I can
remember... I dont think I second guessed the color scheme even once :)
The general idea I wanted to create for the tables and centerpieces a was simple yet elegant and romantic look. I dont like anything that obstructs eye contact at the tables so I knew right away the centerpieces would be low and very simple with flowers, glass vases, mirrors, lots of candle light and scattered rose petals... I cant wait to see it all come together!!! :)
- We are having a 4 tiered cake with alternating layers like this one.
- The cake will be all white buttercream icing with a brown ribbon around the base of each layer. Pink flowers will be scattered all over the cake, kind of like this one. We are also having the Sweedish dots that appear on this cake on our
version. :)
The Final Product... it was EXACTLY what I wanted!!! :)
We did not get matching sets when we bought our flutes and the cake servers... it was just too matchy matchy for me but these two go very well together...and pull in our "heart" theme very well

My rings are a matching set in 18kt white gold that Jeremy got together... they are everything I have ever wanted, I absolutly love them!!!! His ring is more plain then we thought we would end up getting but looks AMAZING on his finger... 14kt white gold!!!! :)
I am wearing an Oleg Cassini ballgown. I had looked at and wanted this dress before I even MET my Fiance and just knew it was the one for me... lucky I got it just in time because about a month after I placed my order it discontinued!!!! I always knew I wanted a Princess type dress and when I put this one on I was only reaffirmed that it was the "one'.
I didnt really shop around much because I knew what I wanted and sometimes I regret that I didnt try on more dresses since this is really the only time I will get to do that but I am a girl who knows what she wants and when I want it I do my best to get it!!!! Regardless I cannot wait to wear this gown and I cannot wait to see Jeremy's face when I am coming down the aisle!!!! :)
Here is the veil on the Davids Bridal website... Here is is on me... (Hair will NOT look like that obviously!!)
Garter: FI is a HUGE Redskins fan so this will be a surprise to him!!! :)
My Hair will be blonde by wedding day!!! Slowly getting back to that... :)
I went and had my final hair and Make-up trial and I am ABSOLUTLY in love with my wedding day look!!! The curls are going to be a little higher to frame my head more on the actual day but this is the gist of the look...These pictures DO NOT do justice to how it actually looks in person!!!

Genesis 2:18-24
18 Then the LORD God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make
him a helper as his partner.” 19 So out of the ground the LORD God formed every animal
of the field
and every bird of the air, and brought them to the man to see what he would
call them; and whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name. 20 The
man gave names to all cattle, and to the birds of the air, and to every
animal of the field;
but for the man c there was not found a helper as his partner. 21 So the LORD God caused a
deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then he took one of his ribs and closed up
its place with flesh. 22 And the
rib that the LORD God had taken from the man he made
into a woman and brought her to the man. 23 Then the man said, "This at last is bone of
my bones and flesh of my flesh; this one shall be called Woman, for out of Man this one
was
taken." 24 Therefore a man leaves his father and his mother and clings to his wife,
and they become one flesh.
i carry your heart with me
i carry your heart with me (i carry it in
my heart) i am never without it (anywhere
i go you go,my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear no fate (for you are my fate,my sweet) i want
no world (for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the
bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart (i carry it in my
heart)

My girls threw me the most AMAZING bachlorette party!!! We went to Atlantic City for the weekend of 8/14/09 - 8/16/09 and had SO much fun!!!! I could't have asked for a better time!!! :)
When we got engaged I was 165 pounds. The biggest I have ever been. I was an athelete my entire life and actually LOST 15 pounds my first year of college instead of gaining. DH and I moved in together Nov of 2007 and thats when I seemed to put on the most weight... At 165 I felt gross about myself and hated putting any of my clothes on or even going out... I KNEW something had to be done. I entered a pretty steady workout routine... forced myself to go to the gym everyday and eventally the pounds started dropping off. Around April or May of 2009 two of my other bride friends and I started a 10 pound challange (whoever lost 10 pounds first won $50, $25 from each person) we had to check in every week and had to keep the 10 pounds off for 2 consecutive weeks, I WON!!! Finally on my wedding day I was 135 pounds!!! I was fitting into clothes I had not worn for years and was falling out of my size 7 jeans. I WILL keep the weight off and have started back up at the gym to make sure this happens. I just wanted to share some inspiration with all of you... you CAN do it!!!
Me in High School -
When we got engaged: May 2008 - 165 pounds
Trying on dresses... HATED it!! - June 2008 - 165 pounds (maybe more)
September 2008 - around 150 pounds.
At a wedding we went to in June 2009 - 145 pounds.
Our Wedding day - 9/12/09 - 135 pounds!!
It took me from about October 2008 (when I got into everything seriously) to about July/August 2009 to loose 30 pounds. I did slow but I LOVED seeing the pounds fall off each week.
Basically it was just gym time (3-5 times a week) doing cardio (anwhere from 20-45 minutes) weight training and ab workouts. Sometimes I would switch it up and go for a mile to two mile run.... Also watching how much food I was putting into my mouth (not necessarily the TYPE of food). Portion control, cutting out ALL soda and juices, not giving in to the temptaions of sweets, and not eating after 8 pm really helped. I really didnt deprive myself of anything, because I dont beleive in "diets" but I was just really careful. Another thing that really helped me, was checking in with myself. Every morning I would get on the scale. This allowed me to gauge what I could eat for the day and if I need to be extra careful or if I could splurge. I would write it on the calendar in the kitchen and I could metnally SEE my progress or regress... which really helped motivate me on the not so great days.
My Something Old was my moms pearls my dad bought her on their wedding day exactly 30 years and one month to the day before I got married...
My Something New was obviously my dress...
My Something Borrowed came from my MIL... her locket she wore on her wedding day (also worn by her mother on her wedding day)
My Something Blue...
FI got him for me for my Birthday last year and he has become a VERY important part of our family... we love him to death... Here is our little Oreo Cookie!!! (I had to include him!!!) :)
We even got some pics of the little guy on the wedding day!!!
