We just booked Joeleen of A Sweet Design! Her cakes are amazing and she is so sweet! She actually ended up designing our cake during our consultation based on the monogram we're using:
top tier: vanilla and chocolate cake with nutella filling
middle tier: dulce de leche with chocolate cake
bottom tier: vanilla cake with guava filling and bavarian cream
Her buttercream frosting was delicious! And even the fondant wasn't bad!

I just placed an order with Candi Merle for a chapel length, oval cut, silver pencil edged veil in diamond white! She was so lovely to work with - can't wait to see the final product! Yay Candi!

i fell in love when i saw these at ann taylor - such a gorgeous color! ann taylor's customer service was also really wonderful - especially with tracking down all the sizes i needed for my bridesmaids. they also sold matching satin headbands too.

i've been trying to figure out a way to sneak my cats in somewhere, and i finally thought of a way to incorporate them into our wedding - with our table numbers! they're naturally curious so they've been poking around all of our wedding stuff.

FI's going to cut this so it's a bit shorter, but here's the box we bought:
FI and I like to watch How It's Made, and FI had admired these candles when we first saw them, but couldn't justify buying one. Then I realized they make unity candles! So this was a perfect choice for us - we're going to ask them to make one in our wedding colors, but here's what they look like:

UPDATE: theprincessbride offered to Photoshop the headband on the bride's hair so I could see what it would look like and I love it! :D
I booked the fabulous Paola of Just Chic Events to be my DOC. I've heard nothing but good things about her and I didn't want to have to worry about anything on the big day!
She's been awesome to work with so far - definitely keeping me on track with her super detailed checklist and recommendations! Yay Paola!
