My engagement ring is a split-shank solitaire with an internally flawless center stone of 1.05 carats, altogether weighing in at a total of 2 carats set in platinum and white-gold. It's from Hardy Brothers and I couldn't be happier. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Both of our wedding bands were custom made by Greg Neil Showcase Jewllers in Mackay. Mine is White gold with 1 carat of bead-set diamonds, his is white gold with a yellow gold cross.
How frickin close is his ring to our photoshop mock-up?? We were THRILLED! (We based the shape and weight off his engagement ring rather than our mock-up, hence the discrepancy):
