Kyle and I have been together for 2 and plus years. We met through mutual friends, the night we met it was a friends birthday party and everyone was coupled off or were married except for us... you could say our
friends brought us together???
Kyle is totally different from me, but at the same time alike, so I guess the saying "Opposites attract" comes to mind. We both want the same things in life.
One of the things that I love about him is that he sings to me:
November 30th, 2009.
The night he proposed we went out to celebrate our two year anniversary, Kyle told me that evening he was not feeling up to par. You see Kyle has pancreatitis, (inherited - family genes) so this particular night he was in somewhat pain. The whole night he kept acting funny, strange, so i just thought it had to be because he was not feeling good... which i told him we could celebrate another night and he didn't want to.
We had dinner at Fish City Grill (the place we went out for our 1st date,) then we went out to Downtown Ft Worth, TX, Where he took me on a carriage ride, i guess this is where he was going to pop the question but he didn't (Kyle and I got too chatty with the guy that was taking us around the city) I whine to Kyle and tell him that before the night is over i want a picture of us FYI he hates getting his picture taken. So we walked around went to a couple of shops and a bookstore. Kyle then decides to call it a night.. at 10:30 PM!!! I told him it was way too early, oh well since he was not feeling well :( So we get in the car and head home. So in the car I make a remark telling him we didn't take a picture...
But before we leave downtown he stops, parks in front of the Courthouse and tells me he wants to look at the building up close... to me this is somewhat a little strange but Kyle has been know to do this to me so I brush it off and go with it and get off with him. I take my camera... So he walks around the bldg then tells me to sit on the steps so He can take my picture before we leave, i sit on the steps and he takes a picture afterwards Kyle kneels in front of me, smiles, pulls out the ring and proposes to me!!!
So I finally decided on a color:
Our main color is Purple... Eggplant? I know that other Ladies have two or more, our wedding colors will be Dark Purple..... with Ivory.
Before Kyle and I met he worked for Kebbler as a result his job yielded him to travel all of Texas and have an appreciation for the scenic side of the country roads ( Plus add many miles at one time to his own vehicle) So when we started dating on weekends Kyle would take me on scenic drives. I have to admit at first it was a little annoying but now I love it!! Kyle and I drive to this little town called Waxahachie 25 minutes from where I live and I love this little town… its known as the GINGERBREAD CITY
<------for its gingerbread houses.
This is the town where we have chosen to get married. Originally the plan was to get married at the church I am a long time member of but the plans all changed, once I saw this Chuch and fell in love with it!!! We will get married at St Joseph Catholic Church, the Church reminds me of old Mexico...
The reception will be at the Waxahachie Civic Center, I love the fact that the church and the Civic Center are 10 mins away from each other...

SO FI TOOK IT UPON HIMSELF ONE DAY TO PRE-REGISTER US AT VARIOUS PLACES, HE CALLS ME ONE DAY AT WORK, "WELL ITS ALL SET UP, I SET US UP AT FOUR DIFFERENT PLACES, THE ONLY THING IS THAT I'M KINDA DISSAPOINTED...HOME DEPOT AND TRACTOR SUPPLY DON'T HAVE WEDDING REGISTRIES" TO WHICH I SCOFF...
WE HAD PREVIOUSLY TALKED ABOUT WHAT STORES WE WERE GOING TO REGISTER FOR SO I REALLY DIDN'T CARE (HOWEVER HE ADDED ONE MORE... JCPENNY) 1.BB&B 2. WAL-MART 3. TARGET 4. JCPENNY
FAST FORWARD TWO WEEKS... (LAST NIGHT) I WAS TO GO OUT OF TOWN (FAMILY EMERGENCY) BUT PLANS CHANGED AT THE LAST MINUTE, SO THERE WE ARE HAVING DINNER AND DISCUSSING WHAT TO DO NEXT... KISS BYE BYE AND HEAD BACK TO OUR OWN PLACES OR DRIVE AROUND
FI SUGGESTS TO GO TO BB&B AND GET STARTED ON OUR REGISTRY....
WE HAD FUN...HOWEVER WE WALKED OUT SOMEWHAT OVERWHELMED, WE REALIZED WE HAVE'T DISCUSSED WHAT WE WANT TO DO AS FAR AS COLORS FOR THE ROOMS. SO WE HAD TO SKIP ALL OF THAT, WHICH LEFT
US WITH NOT MUCH PICKED PUT... BUT ITS A START!

The hangers were from Wal-Mart(set of 5) for like $4-$5, the stickers were from Michaels and Hobby Lobby but i am sure you can get from any craft store that carries scrapbook supplies. All are self adhesive and i cut the strips of pearls and played with them and arranged how i liked it...
Here are some if the stickers i used....
