We had a fantastic christmas themed wedding last year at the Westlake Village Inn. We had 102 guests out of 150 that were invited. My mother made my gown and veil and I loved it! I really liked the set up at this location because they set up the bar right outside the reception room by the water. It was gorgeous. So our guests could go outside and get a breath of fresh air or smoke or freeze as the case may be and then come back in the room and you could see the bar and water from the reception room because one side was all window.

I will do a review of all of our vendors in the vendor review section. We had our friend from college ordained and he acted as our officiant so he doesnt get a review! :)

We got our wedding rings at the jewlery district in Downtown L.A. We got a great deal for both rings. If you want to save money, go there.

We also got the fabric to make my dress and wedding favors and jewlery from Santee Alley in downtown L.A.

I got my shoes from the Shoe Pavillion in Burbank. About $20! and very comfy too.

I did my own hair and make up. Although a few weeks before the wedding I had a make up lesson done at Sephora and they gave me a few tips and I bought some products to use for my wedding. They showed me how to do fake eyelashes and it looked great when they did it but when I tried to do it myself it was a disaster so I just used mascara! One day I would like to learn how to do the fake eyelashes myself. It looked really nice.
