A-Advanced Photo & Video provides quality, yet affordable, wedding photography and videography in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The studio has recently been purchased by Ray Anthony Iavasile, owner of the esteemed Ray Anthony Photography studio of Michigan. Ray, a graduate of Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California, has been photographing weddings since 1992. He brings to A-Advanced Photo & Video a love and passion for "wedding photojournalism" and the art of story telling. As owner and manager, Ray trains, develops and encourages the same passion in the many photographers and videographers on staff with A-Advanced Photo & Video.

We are not just another "in-and-out" wedding photo & video business that you will find in Las Vegas. We cater to the individual expectations of each bride and groom and appoint a specific photographer and videographer who best meets those expectations. We will help inform you of the difference of styles found in wedding photography and videography. Once your preference for style is determined, whether it be wedding photojournalism, tradional, or a mixture of the two, we will appoint to you a specific photographer and/or videographer.

Our goal is to be the very best wedding studio in Las Vegas! We are confident that you will see a difference because of our passion for capturing the wedding story that is unique only to you! In the end, we will provide you with amazing memories for many, many years. Read less

My venue coordinator didnt update the DJ on my song list so of course my ceremony started late, 45 minutes which took time from my photographer's session, as i had gotten a special for $295 he was only supposed to be there for 2-3 hours to shoot my ceremony and then my formal pictures. He showed up earlier than expected and started taking pictures of me getting dressed. I never asked for those pictures and thought he was just being nice. Little did I know he was taking from my time. He also had some issues with his camera and that took some time to work out. My 6 yr old sister whom was my flower girl kept walking out so that was an issue too. Overall I didnt get the style pictures i was looking for but the pictures came out great. We basically posed our selves with very little instruction from the photographer, Rudy. We were looking for photo-journalistic photos only. I thought I had made my self very clear to the owner and his wife as to what type of photos i was looking for. Rudy got great shots of the ceremony and pre ceremony. I didnt get the formal photos I was looking for and most of them didnt turn out so well but the other photos were good. But i guess you get what you pay for. I shouldve spoken up during the photo session but they also couldve looked at the photo questionairre i filled out prior to them coming to my event that I spent almost an hour fillling out on their website.

what I was promised from the photographer, and then looking at the end product was two totally different things. Ray promised me a photographer who was professional and who would shoot in the styling that he shot. And I was shown Ray's portfolio books the whole time while being told this. I was told I would be meeting the photographer a month before the event, but was then later told it was going to be a week before. I never got a chance to meet my personal photographer though, he called 5 days before the event for a 10 minute phone call, and I was supposed to be comfortable with just that. I then was told to fill out an online form to inform the photographer what sorts of shots i was interested in, and the kind of photography. The day of the wedding, the photographer was panicing because I guess he didn't bother to review the information prior to the event to ensure I would get all the shots I wanted.
I wanted a photo journalistic approach to my photography, and what I ended up with was an awkward photographer who continually posed us. The funny thing is, the only time we weren't posed was when we did full family photos in the church. my husband didn't get any photography prior to the ceremony with his men or his family either.

the professionalism of the photographer was also lacking. there were stains on his pants when i met him, and seemed to find a smoking break more important than shooting the event. every time he disappeared and we were left looking for him, and when he finally returned, he reeked of smoke!

finally, when i requested to have my photos shipped to me, i found them on my doorstep one morning, no stamp, no UPS involved. And no knock at the door even though i was home! This included my photo discs as well. I received an email over 4 hours later during lunch letting me know to look for my photos outside, where anyone could have picked them up.

If I had to select a photographer again, I would say, interview the person who will actually be SHOOTING your photos. Be comfortable with them and their experience. I would have never chose this company had I known I should have hired Ray on the spot. He was the reason I selected this company-I just can't guarantee his work since I never got the chance to work with him. I have to say this was the only reason I was dissappointed with my wedding-the photography, the memories.

A Advanced Photo provided quality service and made my special day worry free. Ray (0wner) and Rudy (photographer) were amazing and very responsive. In Las Vegas photographers are a dime a dozen, but they stand out among many for their customer service and attention. As a gift, Ray even included a free photo session and photo. This allowed me to get ing a feel for their studio, style and editing techniques. Great choice!
