Very unprofessional. Very disorganized. They did not have things set up when they said they would be, then constantly harassed the grooms sisters to get all the decorations taken down. What the hell did we pay for? Apparently the beer her husband drank. These people do not have the skills needed to pull this off. We should have rented the grounds, their tables and chairs and buildings and asked them to leave town for the weekend. The barn is an electrician's nightmare. The bridal cottage has a sagging spongy dangerous floor. Pitiful.

It was a mess. Although the venue is picture perfect, the service, communication, professionalism and value were left wanting. 90 minutes before the ceremony (30 minutes before guests would arrive), the bride and I (the groom), were putting out centerpieces on the tables, which were just clothed, and the groomsmen were setting chairs up to the tables. The sound system for the service was never checked and the whole ceremony went on with severe feedback on the right speaker. The owners tried to blame the pianist, but as a former event coordinator, I know this was not the case. It was set up poorly, period. The seating music was never played. All they needed to do was to play the CD on which we burned all our favorite Irish folk songs, but that never happened. Even while the guests were arriving Jeremy was using a tractor to haul out excess tables and the like out of the barn, it was all very disorganized. And though our pastor was ready to perform the rehearsal, for some reason Bobbi thought that she would perform it. Since she had no idea what our program was, the rehearsal was a mess, made all the worse that we had to wait around for 45 minutes in 90 degree heat while they finally set up the sound system. For this, they also blamed us, suggesting that it was our fault for not having the rehearsal in the morning. My feeling is that since we did not do the rehearsal in the AM, they should have had more time to make sure the area was set up for sound. It was a series of excuses with them. They had told us that we could bring out our materials the night before, it was in the contract. When we did, they did not have the coolers on so we were forced to haul all the stuff that needed to be cooled back into Fargo. It was a real blessing to have one more thing to do on the day of the wedding. They also contracted to turn the completed venue over to us 3 hours prior to the ceremony, which was not even close to happening (see the above lament of having to place my own centerpieces). They began tearing down well before all the guests were leaving. All the chairs outside the elegant barn were taken away even as people were still using them. Contact with Bobbi and Jeremy is sporadic at best. She will call and practically demand you respond ASAP, but we would have to wait a week, two and in one case a month for her to respond to our queries. If it had not been for our preparedness and foresight, the whole day would have been a tragic happening of a wedding. They lack the professionalism needed for this kind of business (Jeremy popped open the beers and ate cake that was intended for our guests and mingled as if he were an invited guest, and not a contracted employee). As a professional, it was embarrassing to work with them. We are glad to have it done and over and look forward to making certain no one else\\\'s day is shot with the incompetence and excuses offered in Kragnes. My feeling is that for 3000 for 150 people (plus another 300 for a shade canopy), we should not have had to worry about a single thing. Instead all we did all day long was tie their loose ends and suffer through poor set up and sound.

Bobbi and Jeremy were wonderful to work with! They were very flexible and have a beautiful piece of property to have your wedding at!

Even though the weather did not cooperate with us ... the day was a huge success! The flexibility of everyone involved was much appreciated! Even though there were heavy rains in the days preceeding, Jeremy did a great job of pumping out the water! And despite the 80 mph winds during the ceremony, everyone was safe and had a fun time!

This was the eprfect setting for our summer outdoor wedding. They assisted with vendors, decorations, the works. We had over 200 guests, and they were able to accomodate wonderfully. A word of warning. This should seem obvious, but was not in my "plan" in terms of the wedding. It was HOT!!!! Steaming hot, and it was unbearable! If you plan a summer wedding, have plenty of water available for your guests! Also plan to hand out sunscreen, and a little bug spray. I know, not very elegant, but a necessity! We also handed out hand fans for favors too. The guests appreciate dthe gesture. It was a BEAUTIFUL wedding, and was like a fairy tale.
