Do you have liability insurance?

We play pure music. We reflect our client's musical tastes and style.
Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested?
Our client's song list can be unlimited. We also can certainly guide our clients in creating their song list.
What is your usual attire?
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
We guarantee that we will have every song on our client's song list. We provide all of the music.
How many other DJs do you work with?
We work with six DJs
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
Our price is for four hours of continuous music.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Yes, our clients speak with and meet with the DJ before booking. Our clients work directly with the DJ throughout the process.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
We specialize in World music as well as all the great American music.
Can the client submit a do-not-play list?
We always ask for a Do Not Play list. This is very important.
Do you bring your own equipment?
We always bring two state of the art sound systems. Every component of our sound systems are completely backed up.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
We are an audio company. Upon request, we have ambient wireless LED up lighting for a beautiful wall wash. We also have a 3D starry night effect for the dance floor ceiling should the client wish.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
We allow one hour for the set up. We require a 6' table. We always use a plain screen either beige or black that wraps around the front of the table. We do not advertise ourselves at the event.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
No special space requirements
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?
We never use a sign or banner. We never advertise ourselves at the event.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
Any announcements are pre-approved by the bride and groom before the wedding. There is never any microphone chatting. Apart from the formalities that the client requests, there is absolutely no microphone chit chat. We let the music speak for itself.
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?
We motivate the guests with playing the right music at the right moment. If you are playing the right music, the guests will dance naturally.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
We do not require a vendor meal.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
We do not take breaks.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
We always have a back up DJ guaranteed.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day?
Each DJ only performs one event per day.
What is your overtime rate?
$150. per half hour
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
If the event is more than two hours drive time from New York City, there is an additional $150. travel charge
What is the required deposit to secure your services?
We ask for a $500. retainer at the time of contract.
